What a pretty looking bistro, on the bustling high street! As soon as we entered, we were given a very warm welcome. Our table was ready for us. It was a pleasant atmosphere. Our orders were taken quite promptly as well. The cafe wasn’t very busy. There were some tables for maybe breakfast or snacks. However, our order took about 45 minutes to arrive at the table. It was quite a long wait, especially for the kids. However, the kids' pesto pasta was delicious and so was the fried chicken escalope. We could taste the pasta freshly made, which is what we would expect at an Italian place. We also had the Sea bream special with vegetables, which was quite delicious. But in terms of roasted vegetables, there were only potatoes. However, apart from the wait - what really let us down was the mains that my husband and I ordered. I ordered Spaghetti Marinara with King Prawns and my husband ordered their special Seafood Spaghetti. As you can see from the photos, the king prawns were so small that I would not call them king prawns. Also, for both our dishes - the spaghetti seemed like it was out of a packet, not freshly made. I would at least expect that from an Italian establishment. Also, both the dishes were quite watery and bland. But the staff were quite friendly and attentive, and in spite of the food not upto the mark - we left with a smile on our face.

This morning was my first time to pop in the Al Saggio on the beautiful Chiswick High Street. I did not hope to find any vegan pastry but I found so far the best vegan croissant in Chiswick, a whole meal raspberry croissant- so delicious. I was told they do them also with chocolate so will definitely come back. The staff is italian and very very friendly and helpful. My cappuccino made with Oatly Barista was a real italian one. If you would like an italian breakfast with friendly faces, good cappuccino and a pastry this is your place to go.

Haven't had food there yet. We turned up just before they close but we were still allowed to sit and have a coffee. Place is so beautiful inside. Some tables outside looking and high street and also a garden. Place is dog friendly and customer service was top notch. Will definitely go back soon to test the food. 👍

Such a nice surprise. I had probably one of the best pizza I've ever had in London on 15 years. It was like being in Rome....amazing. I can't wait to go back for an Italian aperitivo. Thanks a lot to the guys who opened it. All the best! :)

Went for lunch with my partner, we ordered the carbonara pasta and a four seasons pizza as part of a combo deal which included a side salad and soft drink for £10. The food was delicious and tasted authentic so I look forward to trying other items on the menu and the welcome and atmosphere was warm, friendly and inviting. Will definitely be back.

Great place for a quick lunch. The drinks were delicious and the food was splendid. We ordered Rigatoni carbonara and Spaghetti amatriciana which were light, flavourful and quite essentially Italian at heart. And the best thing - everyone at the restaurant, including the staff and chef, is super polite, friendly and caring. Great experience.

What a discovery! Fabulous thin based pizza for less than a tenner(??!), better than a lot I've had in Italy itself, super fresh vegetables on it and amazing burrata and fresh tomatoes in my caprese salad. Also incredibly friendly staff, the guy who greeted us was so accommodating (later turned out to be the chef!) as was the guy who served us the rest of the time. Sat out in the paved back garden which was a nice chilled spot away from the High Road. My only "criticisms" would be the wine glasses were quite water stained and we could have done with a better knife to cut the pizzas but... To be honest... For the price point, it's hardly worth mentioning!

I love this place. They offer a wide range of authentic Italian classics and it's super delicious. The interior is cosy, nice and vibrant. I like coming here with my friends for the food, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. I highly recommend you try it out :)
