I can’t describe how much my partner and I love this restaurant! We accidentally came across it on a sunny walk whilst looking for some lunch. We were greeted by Hassan outside who said we wouldn’t be disappointed if we ate here, and he was not wrong! We were blown away! This is now one of our favourite restaurants. We have introduced this lovely, friendly place to so many of our friends are family and every single person agrees with us. We’re always greeted with such hospitality whenever we visit.
Wishing all the staff and the owner, all the success with Tashan. It truly deserves further recognition.

Good food very friendly not to hard to find. Not easy to park can take a bit of time to find parking that's free,that in walking distance.
The menus is clear seats are comfortable lots of space. I could not see it being easy in a wheelchair. Door lead strict on to a crossing.
The food is nicely hot without taking your head off. Much diffrent to my normal Indian restaurant. Completely diffrent types of starters. Some enough for 2 some not much more than a packet of chips. A good range of drinks. It all looked clean the kitchen is on the floor above so you do not have a heavy smell. Price was reasonable. Will definitely go back.
Excellent service from the Tashan Team. Food was amazing and came hot. Staff are helpful and attentive and really know how to look after customers. Made my birthday meal extra special. Portions were great and cocktails good. Couple of issues with our orders being confused but resolved very quickly and we will definitely be going again 🥰

What a lovely restaurant in our neighbourhood! Cosy atmosphere with kind and friendly staff, and such a tasty and not too spicy Indian cuisine which was enjoyable for all my family members! Definitely will be back more often, or whenever we crave that lovely fish masala, butter chicken and lamb biryani again, which is not going to be long!:-)
We had a great experience at Tashan, the food was great, especially the slow-cooked lamp which melts in your mouth! Also, the service was excellent !!!

I had heard good reviews about Tashan Hamstead, so I had to check it out for myself.... it has a very cosy ambience with excellent authentic food... and desserts to savour. I would say a good place to have private parties as the staff and chef are also quite accommodating.

So far we’ve had our first meal at Tashan and we were unexpectedly surprised by all the flavours, the combinations and the ambiance.
We tried the grilled meat platter - such a vibrant dish, salmon, chicken and lamb marinated differently but they blend so well. We especially enjoyed the mango chutney, it’s absolutely to die for.
The staff is very knowledgeable and kind, excellent customer service skills, quick and witty.
Great Argentine wine as well.
All in all an amazing surprise, very very pleasant experience.
Ate in on a Friday evening and had a really delicious meal. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and the highlights were the crispy spinach starter and butter chicken. Drinks were all great and served beautifully - we had a mango lassi and mocktail, the lassi being the best I've ever tasted.
We tried tashan as a family of 8 and had an excellent experience. The food was very fresh and flavoursome, garnished with plenty of fresh coriander and matchsticks of ginger. Standout dishes: tandoori paneer, bhindi masala, tadka Dal. Authentic fresh tasting and colourful. The service was also genuinely warm and friendly with a few extra treats laid on for the children in our group.
Excellent menu. Just the right balance of spices in an interesting menu.
Chicken 65, Punjabi dal and the queema were superb.
The waiter ( Bobby) was superb, knowledgeable and attentive.

I love this Restaurant! It’s cosy and the staff / owners are really friendly.. food is amazing and freshly made. I’ve ordered online dozens of times but went in for the first time last night. Rohith gave us a 10% discount and some curry leaves for home cooking :D How amazing!
Ordered take away dinner twice since it has opened. Authentic indian cuisine. Butter chicken is the best in town. Cannot wait for the lockdown to finish and have a dinning experience in this restaurant with my friends and family.

Where do I start regarding my love affair with Tashan? Do I start with the lovely and warm staff that make it their number one priority to make you feel wanted and valued from the moment you enter the restaurant? Or perhaps the lovely interior and music that transports you to India before any food is even served. I tried Tashan last month through Deliveroo and was honestly blown away so I had to take my father there for Father's Day yesterday. Their attention to detail and complexity of flavours is remarkable. The lovely team also gave us a complimentary order of Aloo Tikki Cholle which my father especially adored. My favorites include the Chicken 65 starter - fried spicy chicken with a lime twist... The Chana Masala is also remarkably delicious, and unlike any Chana Masala I have ever tasted. I also couldn't get enough of the Daal Makhni, the earthy and complicated flavour had both my father and I in unadultered, salivating awe. Our mains, Butter chicken and Lamb Rogan Josh were equally phenomenal, perhaps the best Butter Chicken I have ever had. Before finding Tashan, my all time favorite Indian restaurants were Raavi in Paris and Brigadiers off Cannon Street in London but now the crown has undoubtably been passed to Tashan. A welcome addition to an arguably lacking Hampstead fine dining and delivery scene. Go there now, I have no doubt in my mind you will leave happy and full.
Yum!!! Walked past and had a look at the menu and a lovely person inside gave us a menu to take home. Finally ordered and it is delicious! So happy to have this place nearby. Will definitely be ordering again. Great veg selection.
