Lokanta is a really popular place so on Saturdays it’s quite packed and squashed. However if you sit in the garden area it’s much nicer and spacious. It has a roof and heating so it’s not cold. We got free bread and hummus and various other dips on the house which was nice. I ordered the platter for 2 and it was a really filling, good value for money. I ordered the virgin mojito but it was so sour. The Turkish tea was really nice. If you ask for a pot you get extra tea than if you buy a glass so better value for money. Good halal restaurant, street parking and pretty place. Spent £80 for two people which is a good price. Definitely recommend.
We had a lovely time at Lokanta, the food was excellent. I had the sirloin steak with prawns and peppercorn sauce and it was amazing. To finish, we had the baklava, the combo with the ice cream was delicious. The service was great, everyone was very friendly and we enjoyed sitting in the garden terrace. Highly recommend 😊
Yummy food and warm atmosphere. Loved the lentil soup and chicken kebab as a part of a lunch deal. The desert is a piece of art :) Will definitely come back again.
I don't know how to start... I'll say it directly... exceptional. from the service to the food and to the atmosphere in the restaurant. the waiters with class, the place arranged with passion and the food made with taste. congratulations Lokanta Greenwich. as a turkish, i didn't expect to find such a good soup in england exactly like in istanbul. excellent bravo! I will come tomorrow to try the other dishes too!
We had an absolutely fantastic time today at Lokanta celebrating our mum’s birthday. Tanya was so lovely and professional yet so so charming, she looked after us the whole time and honestly was an absolute star of a host. Best customer service we’ve seen in a very long time!!
The food was amazing, nothing to fault at all. Everything we ordered was just *chefs kiss*.
Overall a brilliant time in Lokanta :) would highly recommend!!

Lokanta Bar and Grill in Greenwich calls itself a modern Turkish restaurant. I can't vouch for the authenticity of the food because I am no expert on Turkish cuisine. But what I can vouch for is the taste and I must say it was simply delicious.
We started off with some Hot Chocolate and that really hit the spot because it was a cold and rainy outside.
We followed this with the Lokanta Special Curry which they say is the Turkish take on the famous chicken katsu curry. This was served with some Turkish flavoured rice. We also had the Mixed Grilled Kebab which was like a grilled platter with some chicken shish, lamb kofte and lamb chops served on a bed of rice with salad on the side, topped with a couple of large fried chillies.
Both the dishes tasted great but beware..the portions are humongous and we had to get a doggy bag.
The service was excellent. The staff was friendly and very helpful.
Went for the Jumbo platter for 4 to share between 3 people. Unexpectedly good. Lots of food. Can't fault the place. Even seated in the rear garden. Service was very friendly and efficient.
The service and kindness of the staff is top notch. Food was fine overall (pictures provided), but given prices, they may need to improve on quality of fruit juices and desserts (baklava wasn’t nice at all, fruit juices tasted like water and colouring).
Lovely welcoming restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble from our host Tanya who looked after our every need. Our dog was welcome in the garden that is brilliant as it has a roof cover for wet weather like it was on our visit. Food was delicious and fresh.

03/08/2023 had a sharer for two, and this was the best flavour to mouth; charcoal makes a big difference.
We dined in the garden/outside. What a wonderful feeling.
The mixed grill for two, accompanied by grilled vegetables made for a nice meal for three. The meats were tasty, the veggies and salad fresh and tasty as well. The chips were crispy and the warm flatbread very nice as well. Finally, the baclava was delicious too. All was presented nicely and served by friendly staff. Pity I was just on a holiday, otherwise I'd loved to go again 😋
Food was good and generous portions. Belly dancer was an unexpected surprise. Friendly staff but they got one meal wrong - twice - and gave us incorrect descriptions of the ingredients. Gluten free was tricky for them to accommodate
Have passed many times and always meant to go in and it didn't disappoint. Had the hot meze platter for two (includes starters and dessert) which was great but it was the service which made the meal. Amazing- from the man who greeted us at the door, to the two ladies who seemed to be in charge and all the staff, they should be very proud. Also the setting out the back was a lovely environmental, nicely decorated and calm.
Went there with my husband. The foods were average tasting. Portion was not as good as I thought. Pricing was okay. Environment was good. The server was helpful. Food was quickly delivered. Overall it was not so good not so bad.
Great food and the waitress (Tanya) was very friendly and attentive. The pina colada’s were also delicious! I will be returning and with more people!
We went to Lokanta for a 40th Birthday celebration. Amazing service, very quick considering there was 20 of us! Brilliant atmosphere, lovely food the best Turkish restaurant around! Thank you to Apple for making this celebration so special! Will definitely be returning.
We have been twice so far and it has been delicious each time. Great food, friendly and attentive service and nice and clean restaurant. It is not the cheapest Turkish restaurant if you want to share some of the popular meals like the platter and have 1-2 starters (we always pay a bit above 100£ for two people without alcohol) but that’s Greenwich for you. Definitely worth the price though based on the food quality.
This restaurant is fabulous. The food is absolutely divine and our hostess Tanya was a delight. She was attentive and ever so friendly. It was as if we were being served by family. An absolute gem of restaurant and deserves more than a 5 star review. We can't wait to return.
