Super affordable, homey Indian food, with attentive service. We had the set for two, $29. We ordered one piece of Tandoori chicken (great), vegetable samosas (good), Madras chicken (good), vegetarian briyani (good), which came with a big bowl of vegetables curry. The meal also included two cans of soda. The flavors are on the mild side, you can ask the staff to make it spicy, if you are the type. 😋 The atmosphere is homey, for there prices you should not expect upscale!
I went in with four friends not knowing what to expect. The location of MamGee seemed out of place. We would never have expected the food to taste so good. We walked out having fully been satisfied. It was one of the best Thai food you’d find in the UK. I’ve dinned all around the country and the world. Hats off to these guys. If you want outstanding food and not looking for the thrills in the deco and location, then this is the place. Often people mistaken deco and the ambiance with the quality of food. For those food critiques and explorers you’ve got to try this place.
Can you guess how much all three plates cost with 2 cans of Coca Cola? 20£! And every dish was delicious, especially the pad Thai. Honestly, I really recommend take out from here - it is best suited for lunch breaks from work I’d say. Very affordable, quick service and big portions leaving you feeling full, but a healthy good full, not a heavy full.
Visited this restaurant with a friend and we had Phad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) and chicken and black bean sauce. The food was absolutely delicious and could taste the freshness of the ingredients. The staff were very friendly and great service.
I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be going back.
It is a great experience. I went there in the morning so I tried the breakfast. The hot chocolate is smooth and the English breakfast is immediately prepared and tasty, the hash browns are the highlights. I certainly will go again for the Thai dishes. :)
If u ever visit this place i would recommend the full english breakfast. I had one few days ago and it was so good and the value was good for what i got. All the elements in that breakfast had good taste and nothing was tasteless . 5/5 for that breakfast
I have ordered mamaGee soooo many times, they have quite a big range of asian dishes such as they even have korean fried rice but mainly thai food. My favourite dish have to be the salt and pepper squid. They are crispy and not rubbery at all. It’s pretty sad that during this Ramadhan they have to close early (at 5pm) so I cant have MamaGee to break my fast.
Ordered butter chicken and pilaw rice. Both arrive very hot. I finished both dishes. Not expensive meal in West London.
I’m glad I found halal food tasty and good portions, I order thai spicy basil fried rice. Food still hot when is arrive, also fresh and delicious.
Polite and good energy from the person I spoke to on the phone and good mannered delivery driver too. The food is good. I’ve ordered the vegetable biryani and one point I want to give it is that it has just the right amount of spice. Usually I don’t like spicy food nor can easily tolerate it but this is just spicy enough that it doesn’t bother me and adds to the dish. Well done.
