Colonel Saab - London - Photo album

A tasteful (both in terms of flavors and decoration) Indian restaurant in the heart of London. Loved the vegetarian options (the cauliflower fish was my favorite), very attentive and polite stuff, great music and choices of wines and cocktails. Creamy chicken was also a great hit for us. Don’t mi
One of the best restaurants for hospitality! The ambience was lovely, food was amazing but what makes this place stand out is their outstanding service. My other half’s birthday was made so special. Special thanks to Rony, for making us feel so comfortable and catered. All staff came to cheer the bi
Just back from India, i was missing their food so much so decided to try CS for dinner with some friends. We all loved the food and service - apart from one Dairy Free beef dish that my friend didn’t enjoy as too dry (it looked v much so but I didn’t try it as I don’t eat meat). Large portions and d
Wonderful experience through years : came when it just opened and since then stayed authentic. Rony by whom i was wonderfully served, was in full dedication to my person. A true and marvellous journey to India !
Great food, great atmosphere. I had better Indian food in London for fractions of the price, but this is the only downside. Service was nice but a bit slow. We had tea for drinks and both were very nice. A tip, if you just ask them to refill with hot water, it is free. Cold water was quite the oppos
My friend wanted to treat me to a dinner as a birthday gift and we decided to give this place a go. We had made a reservation prior and on the day just 2 hours before the reservation time I was given a call to confirm my booking with an email link later sent to me to input card details as a way to s
Really nice restaurant. I had the Punchu cocktail which was sweet and refreshing. For the starter, I had the chicken tikka which was very soft and nice. For the mains, I had the nadan meen curry (sea bass curry cooked in Kerala style) with garlic naan and Parantha. The curry had really nice flavou
Incredible. The service, the food..impeccable. We had a team lunch, and the client was very impressed. The decor is absolutely breathtaking, too.
This was one of the best Indian vegetarian food I’ve had. The flavours are so authentic yet the take on the food is modern. The setting is beautiful and you can have a great time dining here.
Absolutely amazing. Unique experience in the heart of London with brilliant Indian cuisine and lovely service. We celebrated my wife's birthday and had an amazing dinner. The staff were extremely nice accommodating our requests for a specific table and celebrating with us on this special day. And th
Loved it. Fish dish on another level. Service so very friendly and accommodating. Reasonably priced for Central London. You're not going to get your usual High Street Indian Dishes here. It's a reasonably slender menu but the food I had was cooked to perfection and better in the case of the fish (ge
Best Indian restaurant in London! Pradnya has been so great and nice with us, on top of every detailed we will definitely come back!
One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve tried in London (and actually elsewhere). Nice food, and a balanced level of using spices, so you can actually taste the food and ingredients (nit just some hot food). We had Shikari Raan and Checken Tikka and both were delicious. Dishes (including starters) c
Colonel Saab is a lovely Indian restaurant in Holborn. The food is delicious - I had the lamb biryani and it was one of the best I've ever had. The service is also excellent, the staff are friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the decor is beautiful. I would definitely rec
Not a coincidence this restaurant has 4.7 stars which is not an easy task in London. The food, the cocktails, the service, the deco, and the relation price-food quality, are just outstanding. NPS- yes and yes, I recommend this place, and I will be back with no doubts.
Decent Indian restaurant. Had a good time. Serving was quick. Taste is good. Ambience is pretty cool. Staff is friendly. They charged my phone which was almost dying.. Overall good
Enjoyed it. Good without being great TBH. For the money you're spending in zone1 London, I'd have to say Gymkhana is better. Appetizers and Desserts were best here. £30 for three Lamb Chops. While the Lamb Chops were amazing... other dishes were nothing more than OK. Not bad - just Ok. Eg the Butter
We came here for dinner on a weekday and if was truly a great experience. The service was great from the outset and the so was the decor. To start we got the poppadoms which are nice, the mango chutney was the best but they don’t give you enough- they happily gave us more. We also got the lamb chops
Such a lovely place! Food was delicious, service provided by Anshul was high class. Can recommend this place. Ordered food (on photo) cost us 74.28 pounds.
