The food at BAO is pretty good, we highly enjoyed the Prawn Bao and the raw beef clean broth noodle. The pork belly rice was a bit small for the price and lack of sauce, and the stronger broth beef noodles just lacked a bit of salt/soy. But otherwise still a very nice lunch, a bit pricey but worth c
LOVEEE all the Bao restaurants! ❤️
The food is always good!
I tried their iced lemon foam drink which tasted really nice but small in size, as most of the drink was foam. I really really enjoy the bounciness of their noodles - it's soo good!! I've been here twice now, literally to taste both noodle
Pretty authentic taiwanese dishes and options, it’s on the more expensive side but people come here probably for the atmosphere too. Nicely decorated with modern, chic, simple but clean look, the restaurant is divided into 2 floors. The top floors has both indoor and outdoor seats while downstairs l
Me and the wifey went to the shop, and although we didn't have a reservation we managed to get a table in 5 minutes. I gotta say that, the food was phenomenal, absolutely tasty! We've been missing the noodles ever since, I got the Heavy sauce Noodles with Beef Brisket and wifey got the Light Sauce N
Tasteful decor, good food.
Our waitress made suggestions on how much to order of each which was more than enough. I came in starving and wasn’t able to finish everything.
Clearly labelled vegan options and our waitress was helpful in explaining what was vegan and was able to make one of the baos v
Really enjoyed visiting bao in Shoreditch. The fried chicken bao was delicious with a very generous amount of chicken inside. The slow cooked beef cheek & short rib noodles were UNREAL - the broth was brothing - so rich and juicy. Will definitely be returning!
I’m a huge fan of Bao London ! Places are awesome and staff very attentive ! I like all the details + cocktails and baos are so good ! Daikon and chicken are my fav !
Ellen is excellent , and make us feel at home. And the food they sell here is finger-licking good. You must give it a try when you in London. Highly recommended!
I went there alone and I like to say would definitely recommend this place! I wish I had more room in my stomach to try all the dishes. Will definitely come back for more :) The staff is very kind and accommodating. The food was very delicious.
Bao just doesn't let you down. I could have done with a little more meat in the noodles, but it was still a good dish. The Old fashioned with Toki was excellent! If you're sharing the Bao's let them know and they'll either give you a knife to cut them or they may even serve them cut for you.
Delicious bao buns! Nice restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere, the food is really good. It’s a little expensive for what you get but everything is very tasty.
The staff were kind and attentive :) Sat on my own facing the window, and ordered the soy glazed aubergine (yum but a bit spicy, which wasn’t informed in the menu) and the classic bao (so good). Just wish the portions were bigger!
I must confess I am not really a broth and noodle gal. However the ingredients used are so fresh, you feel like you are eating a cow. It’s proper beefy and brothy (if this were a word). Now for the bao, I was a fan of the confit pork. The bao bun was sweet enough, texture super soft and the carameli
BAO is literally one of the best restaurants out there! I have been dying to bring my partner here for years! And I finally did, which an experience he loved.
My bf and I loved the baos, we dream about it every day. We had the Tainwanese chicken - crispy, juicy and bursting with flavour. We also or
I had the set menu - the staff were really friendly and answered all my questions. The food was also really good and good value for money. However, I do wish the dan dan noodles had a bit more sauce in it as it does get a bit dry after mixing. The taste was still really good 😊
