Incredible vegan Thai food! My partner & I have recently returned from spending 2 months in Thailand & we're really missing the food (& the country in general). Finding this restaurant was such a nice surprise, it was like being back in Thailand & the food was absolutely delicious & completely authentic. Service was great, we ordered & had our meals within 10 minutes. Highly recommend this restaurant for Vegans (& everyone) wanting a Thai food fix.
Delicious food!! Especially enjoyed our boozy Thai milk teas. We shared satay skewers for the starter and my vegan cod red curry was cooked to absolute perfection.
Would absolutely return in the future when in this area.
Only downside was we were waiting a while for the bill, but then again I think this was just because they didn't want to rush us, amazing service in general. Brilliant prices for London.
Had a great experience at Mali Vegan. Authentic Thai dishes with fresh ingredients. I can confirm that they have a separate menu in-house for those avoiding garlic and onion (and other aliums) Great service! No complaints . Really nice decor and atmosphere too ❤️
Heard good reviews so decided to give it a shot. Overall not bad, spring roll pretty standard. The Pad Si Ew however was a tad overpowered with seasoning but great texture on the vegan beef. Curious to try the other dishes next time.
Visited Mail for dinner with a friend. Was pleasantly surprised by the cosy outdoor area, which are hard to come by in London. Make sure you request outdoors when booking as there are only four tables. The service was friendly and food came surprisingly quickly. The food itself was great with the spring rolls being the winner. The aubergine dish can be improved, it lacked flavour/sauce but eating it with the pad Thai made it more enjoyable.
A great place to share food and the dishes were spicy, salty, tangy, aromatic, DELICIOUS!
This is every Thai lovers dream! Where to start... the atmosphere of this place was great, felt like being abroad, would definitely recommend dining in their outdoor seating area.
Everything pictured (two mains, two small plates) plus two beers came to ~£60~ which is very reasonable.
Also, this was best imitation meat I've had - the noodle salad had crispy "fish", the green curry "chicken" and the rice "salt beef". I just want to rush back to try more.
Absolute flavour bomb. It’s a vegan restaurant so there’s no meat, but Thai cuisine works just fine without meat. If you’re craving authentic thai flavors, this is a great spot. Ask for the extra chili oil and get a sweat on - a proper experience!
Delicious! I’m a foodie and very health conscious so I love food that is tasty but also light. This was perfect!! I left feeling nice and not over stuffed. The vegan cod was delicious, the sauce is a bit spicy. The instant noodle was amazing!
A cosy Vegan restaurant that's tucked away from the otherwise bustling area around the Earl's Court Underground station.
We dropped in for our anniversary dinner date and I'd requested the restaurant to give us a good table.
The restaurant's ambience is lovely but the tables are quite closely spaced and unless you're in a corner, it doesn't feel like you've got your private space. We were initially seated in the middle, but on our request, the restaurant accommodated us at a better table.
I had a sweet but flavourful Butterfly Pea Flower Iced Tea to sip on while we dined.
We started off with their Satay Hed & Tao Hoo, which was a mix of Shitake mushrooms and Tofu, both skewered and marinated in Satay sauce. This was very sleekly presented and served a great appetizer to our main course comprising the Khao-suey and the Massaman curry.
The Khao-suey is a Northern Thai delicacy. The broth was very rich and tasty, but scanty. However, the team readily provided us with an extra cup of it on request.
The Massaman curry was made with chickpeas and tasted delightfully creamy. It was just about sufficient for 2 portions of Jasmine rice.
As Vegetarians who turned vegan, we wished there were more dishes on the menu that were veggie-based and not 'mockmeat'-based. For those that are mock-meat based, the restaurant could offer a tofu option instead.
That said, we enjoyed the food thoroughly, and would love to come back with friends.
Have dined in Mali several times when in London. The vegan menu is so inventive, it makes it so hard to choose from. Every dish I've had has been very tasty. Recommend a visit
