These bagels were delicious! I got the chicken avocado ball with avocado, it was amazing. Other people in our group got the coffee and they loved it! We also had a person in a group who is a vegetarian and she was able to eat here. Very nice people and atmosphere!
Great bagels, and coffee. The staff are nice, and you get served in a timely fashion despite long queues. Wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend if you're in the russell square area.
What a great find, found this place today on the off chance whilst cycling around looking for somewhere to eat. The menu was a bit limited for vegetarian options but when I asked, the lovely assistant said they could make something that wasn't on the menu, it was much appreciated. Sitting outside with a great tasting coffee & a really nice bagel watching the world go by, I could of sat there all afternoon but the weather had other ideas 🌧.
It was definitely worth the visit.

I visited the café on a rainy day, seeking comfort in a warm and cozy atmosphere. The staff greeted me with a smile and were exceptionally polite, which immediately set a positive tone for my experience.
While it took some time to receive my bagel, I didn't mind the wait as I had some spare time to enjoy the ambiance and relax. The café's inviting interior made the delay more bearable, and the attentive staff ensured that I felt welcomed and comfortable throughout.
When my bagel finally arrived, I was surprised by the generous amount of cream cheese that adorned it. While I appreciate the desire to provide ample toppings, I personally found the quantity to be a bit overwhelming. It would be advisable for the cook to exercise a lighter hand when spreading the cream cheese, allowing the flavors of the bagel and other ingredients to shine through more prominently.
On the bright side, the coffee served at the café was delightful. It was evident that care had been taken in preparing a quality cup of coffee. The taste was rich and satisfying, providing a perfect complement to my bagel despite the excessive cream cheese.
Overall, I had a pleasant experience at the café.

Finally some decent bagel in England! As a former New Yorker who can make bagel at home, I am able to satisfy my craving for a bagel that’s crispy outside, chewy and springy inside, dense and not drowned in water. The amount of veggie is surprising. Iced flat white tastes great, rich with nutty and dark chocolaty notes.
(I agree with some comments about the dated 2000s (?) dance/pop music, but I am tolerant to loud environment in general 😅)
Love the bar seats at the window.

Came back to try the Bey Root today. Arriving from Tel Aviv, I was not disappointed. Nice hummus (on the garlicky side though) and a dash of za’atar (with a prominent cumin flavor). Might not look as good as the classic chicken or salmon avo, but really special.
Same great latte with caramelly chocolaty notes.

The filling is as tasty as last year, but the bagel itself is quite lackluster—literally. Perhaps this batch should be using a higher gluten flour, beaten longer, boiled longer, and/or baked at a higher temperature. A bit soft but still chewy than white bread.
A little disappointed with the bagel but I’ll keep the 5 star for very helpful and friendly service ;)
Recommended by my gf to try. Really good coffee and their matcha latte is one of the best (they use proper Japanese grade matcha!)
But we got an Iced Americano and latte, very tasty and the Americano wasn't that bitter.

Very nice discovery close to the British Museum! The cappucino was very good and the homemade blueberry muffin was light and soft, baked without too much sugar. The people are very nice and smiling. I highly recommand the place gor a quick break, breakfast or to take a snack.
We stayed in the hotel nearby, this became our breakfast place! The coffee is good, muffins are good, bagels as well!
An absolutely wonderful Mocha coffee with such pleasant service! Jewel is awesome and his service is top notch. If I were local, this would be my daily coffee stop! It was so good I went back for seconds.
