We went there on a Friday afternoon after V&A museum. They have a lunch deal at £15 for three items, chicken + salad + sides. Monday to Friday 1-5 pm. 12.5% service charge applies.
They look absolutely amazing and taste delicious. The plating is beautiful. However the portion is quite small. It was more like appetiser size.
The grilled chicken is better the the boneless chicken. Truffle fries and truffle mash are so yummy. Fraser salad and kale salad are equally good.
The decor is nice and chic. Service is attentive. Just be mindful the portion is not very big.
Went at 6pm, was quiet but service was very attentive and helpful. Had the mushroom hummus and chicken croquettes to start, followed by a whole chicken with a side of truffle mash.
The chicken is served with a bowl of chicken just, perfect for dunking into. The chicken is free range, perfectly cooked and falls off the bone.
Lovely interior, top service and very tasty food. For four drinks, two starters and a whole chicken with sides it was just over £100 which I thought was quite good.
It was our first time at Cocotte and we’ll definitely go again.
Epic dinner at Cocotte! Ordered a couple full chickens for the table, miso fennel salad, green goddess salad, roast potatoes and truffle fries. Everything worked together perfectly. Bernardo was spot on with his recommendations and took great care of our table. His high level of service really made the evening. Found out he's from Albufeira, makes sense why his hospitality is next level. Thanks Bernardo and the team at Cocotte for an awesome evening!
i enjoyed the plant based chicken set menu, i think it’s great value for money, my boyfriend had the regular chicken and did mention it was dry, so i would keep that in mind for anyone having the chicken!! the truffle fries were great, and the selection of sauces was pretty good too!! our server was amazing!! if you’re going for the plant based lunch set menu, i’d highly recommend!! drinks are great too!!
Nice roast chicken! It’s our first time trying Cocotte - we ordered the Chicken & Waffle, a half Roast Chicken and truffle fries. I would say the chicken was well cooked, wish the sauce has more flavours to it. Truffle fries is a must order! The individual sauce for chicken is a little pricey (£1.75), but overall a nice meal for the price point. Will come back to try the other menu.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner here while visiting. I found this place on google since they were one of the only places with a reservation for 6 available. This places was AMAZING and so glad we found it! Everything was wonderful! The chicken was outstanding as well as the sides! Highly recommend the Mac n cheese! Service was great, food came out quick and ambience was perfect. Definitely one of the best meals we’ve had visiting London.
We arrived around 19:30 on Tuesday and we felt super welcoming from the waiter, I guess his name is Riccardo. He offered us water and the wine chart.
Quick and efficient. Chef Fabrizio as well suggested for starter Truffle Mac&a cheese and chicken croquettes. Delicious!! After that the chicken banged all the expectations. Thank you both for the great experience.
Recommend to me by a friend, we visited for dinner. The service was extremely professional and friendly from the start, and the menu was small but well balanced. The star dish of this place is the Rotisserie chicken, which is probably one of the best chicken dishes I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. Expertly cooked, remaining moist and juicy with exceptional season and flavour. The half chicken was served on the bone, skin on, accompanied with the most delicious Jus. We ordered several accompaniments including the baby roast potatoes and the luxurious and utterly delicious Truffle Mac & Cheese. The deserts were also very good, with their interpretation of a Mong Blanc falling short of expectations when it was delivered in a glass, but packed full of sweet nutty deliciousness. The apple tart was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal here.
Fantastic experience and the chicken is delicious.
Cool vibe to this place and atmosphere is quite chilled. Great place to have dinner in your own.
Staff really friendly.
Takes American Express.
Toilets downstairs although disabled and baby changing in the restaurant level.
Good spot near underground and museum. They specialize in organic chicken roast and offer a soup as well. Place is warm and inviting and service is prompt and attentive. Smalls groups are good but large groups of 20 or more will be tight here.
We did take out so this review is based on that. Food was excellent, decent portions and good value. The chicken was perfectly done and moist, the mash and Mac n cheese were great as well. Would definitely order from here again.
Just shared an incredible meal with my friend here. Food was absolutely incredible!
We went for half a rotisserie chicken teamed with tender stem broccoli, truffle Mac and cheese and truffle mash.
The juices on offer are just as good.
Decor and aesthetics just as beautiful as the meal. Service lovely. 10/10 for the entire experience!
Went during the first week of opening. Service was friendly but not particularly fast due to a lack of staff. Chicken was good with a nice gravy. Sauces were not outstanding, truffle Mayo was a highlight but the spicy sauce wasn’t great. On the sides, Mac and cheese was tasty but largely stuck to the pan. Also worth noting that prices seem to be inflated vs. other Cocotte branches.
One of best rotisserie chicken in London. Very good kids menu, good value and for once not served with fries! Mains portions are generous with lot of flavor. Price are reasonable for the area.
I visited Cocotte in South Ken for lunch earlier and I must say it was a super great experience and the food was delicious. We got the chicken soup, half a chicken, normal mash & truffle mash, VEGAN chicken popcorn (delish) and a side salad. It is not a lie when they say the soup is the grandma’s recipe - when I tasted it, it brought back the flavours from my childhood when visiting my granny which was super nice. The chicken was very delicious, had lot of flavour and was perfectly cooked and served with sauces. Truffle mash was 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 and service was fast and the waiter was polite. I will definitely return or try their other locations.
We came here for an early dinner on Saturday. Reasonably busy, so recommend to book a table in advance.
The food here was okay. I’m still deciding whether it’s better than Nando’s or not. Atm, think Nando’s still has an upper hand.
The price was not that cheap. We had a main each, a couple of sides to share and a dessert each. Maybe two soft drinks per person. The bill came as £40+ per person.
Might come back, but I think I will be more likely to go to Nando’s instead 🙈
The food & the people at this restaurant are just wonderful. The overall service is thoughtful, intelligent, kind, interactive.
I went there last night with a friend I hadn't seen for ages - we had a whole chicken with its wonderful jus; with roast potatoes; tender stem broccoli in a delicious sauce which brought it even more to life; and the most delicious grilled hallow sitting in a pesto sauce - DIVINE! I had TWO! Followed by the amazing Caramel Apple dessert with vanilla vegan ice cream. I am not vegan - but the ice cream shaped up well.
From Kristen through Dominiqua ( I think) who has the most exquisite blond hair to below her waist - they were all just so attentive to whatever we wanted.
It was lovely food, lovely service and worth returning time after time after time
