Very elegant restaurant located on the second floor of the Pan Pacific Hotel. Service was very good and attentive. For starters I ordered the tiger king prawns. It was cooked perfectly and the sauce was full of flavour. For mains ordered the prawn and squid noodles. This was also very tasty and the seafood tasted fresh. Finally for dessert I ordered the apple crumble which was my favourite course. 100% recommend coming to this restaurant which is often overlooked by tourists.

I had dinner with my brother and I would highly recommend this place. They have a wide range of very tasty Asian dishes. From starters to mains with succulent deserts and banging cocktails; it's definitely the place to go for a foodie! Great service and friendly staff on top of it all! Cocktails are really amazing!!! 🌟

Dining at Straits Kitchen in London was an absolute delight! First and foremost, the soft-shell crab was a real treat, tantalisingly fresh with a hint of sweetness. The prawns were impeccably cooked, succulent and tender to the bite. The lobster laksa was a triumph, with its rich coconut broth paired brilliantly with the fresh lobster meat, each spoonful oozing with Southeast Asian flavours. But the pièce de résistance was undoubtedly the Hainanese chicken rice. The chicken was perfectly tender, and the rice was aromatic without being overly greasy, truly evoking fond memories of meals in Singapore. The appetiser platter showcased a fantastic array of treats, each one moreish in its own right. To round off the evening, the apple dessert was the perfect endnote, sweet without being cloying. All in all, Straits Kitchen offers a veritable gastronomic journey to Singapore. Heartily recommended to anyone with a penchant for Southeast Asian cuisine!

Atmosphere and service were impeccable- ambience is great and so is the decor. Great views of outside and the city. For food we got the platter which was lovely, very tasteful. We also got poppadom chips which needed a sauce and the mandou bread which was nice and sweet. For mains we got the lobster laksa which was lovely but difficult to eat- the broth was really lovely as were the fish cakes. We also got the lamb with rice which was good but needed a bit more and the quantity for £40 isnt great. We also got a mocktail which was great and they have a fantastic selection to choose from. We had a discount so our overall bill was £75 but I wouldn’t say it’s worth £140.

Straits Kitchen at Pan Pacific was just the perfect ending to the weekend. The Sunday Roast Bottomless Brunch was just amazing and I would definitely come back. The FoH and staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was impeccable and delicious. My lovely and sweet friend picked this place and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. A true hidden gem.

Such a fantastic lunch at Straits Kitchen! The food and service was excellent. In addition as my wife and I were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary, they pulled out all the stops and made us feel incredibly welcome.

Back in Oct and menu has changed. Still good value for business lunch tho I like. Heart portion like previously. Nice setting, I felt like being back in Singapore because of the decor and vibe. Extensive alcohol list but tad pricey and disappointed there's no Tiger beer, though there's a Lion lager. Service is top notch, really attentive, friendly and treated like a regular when it's my first visit. The lunch set is a good deal and we only ordered two-course set and we're so full. I'd recommend this place for business or friendly lunches. The ribs, pork belly, crispy duck rolls are perfectly cooked. The Hainan chicken rice is fragrant, and the soup too, the chicken is not Singapore hawker standard (which is paler in colour with smooth gelatic skin, and served on a bed of cucumbers with sesame oil sauce) but more like home cooked kampong chicken. The ketupat has the taste but not the texture, unfortunately.

2023 reviews: I recently had the pleasure of dining at Straits Kitchen Sunday Roast, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The restaurant offers a relax and inviting ambiance, and the service provided by the staff was exceptional. I was particularly impressed with the friendly and attentive nature of the staff members, who were attentive, to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. One of the highlights of my visit was the roast section. The selection of roasted meats was outstanding, and the Hainanese Chicken was soft and tender. I couldn't help but indulge in extra servings. If you're a fan of perfectly cooked meats, the roast section at Straits Kitchen is definitely worth exploring. However, I must admit that I was slightly disappointed with the desserts offered at Straits Kitchen. While they had a decent variety, the overall taste and quality fell short of my expectations. The desserts lacked the finesse and creativity compare to my previous experience, and they failed to leave a lasting impression. I believe there is room for improvement in this aspect of the dining experience. Another aspect that didn't quite meet my expectations was the laksa broth. As a fan of this iconic Singaporean dish, I was assuming its consistency and authentic taste at Straits Kitchen. However, I found the laksa broth to be below par. It lacked the depth of flavour and way too much sugar. It felt rather plain and didn't deliver the burst of flavours I was hoping for. Despite these minor setbacks, the overall experience at Straits Kitchen was still enjoyable, thanks to the excellent service and the standout roast section. The friendly staff members truly elevated the dining experience, and their attentiveness was much appreciated. I would recommend Straits Kitchen reviews it menu and don’t let the good reputation ruin for a minor mistakes. 2022 reviews : The best Sunday Roast in town, love the hainanese chicken and roast pork. Always leave some room for the amazing sweets

My second time coming to SK. FoH was extremely lovely and friendly. I got a check in call as I was running late, which was really nice. Our waiter was also lovely and topped up our prosecco. The food was lovely too. The Laksa was my fave today. Definitely a spot for special days. Thank you.
