Great place for meats and fish cooked in a delicious way. Potatoes are amazing. Really for you if you're into grilled food with a bit of char flavour. I would suggest going for lunches Tuesday - Sunday as much better prices on the main plates.

Came here for the lunch menu, had the grilled chicken thighs and it was absolutely delicious. Great value for money. We eat outside which had a great view, lovely little street to sit and have food or a coffee. The guy waiter was really good aswell (5 stars), felt like he went above and beyond and made some good suggestions. Never caught his name but he looks like bennedict cumberbatch. Would recommend 👌

Lovely little restaurant specialising in charred food. All the dishes were very tasty, you can tell is quality produce cooked with care. We were clearly hungry as all my pictures are of plates already half eaten!

WOW, Cinder is on fire - probably the best lunch I've ever had in 37 years of dining in London. I took my cousins here when they came over from LA on holiday as they love Israeli/Middle Eastern food and we were absolutely bowled over by how fantastic Cinder is. Everything from the stunningly delicious food tp the super welcoming, friendly and efficient service to the cosy and comfortable décor with views of the open plan kitchen and Josper Grill makes Cinder an 11/10 experience. If you like me, enjoy supporting excellent local neighbourhood restaurants then I can highly recommend Cinder - their freshly baked bread with selection of dips is without doubt the best I've ever eaten and their wood grilled cedar plank Salmon main course served with delicious pickled cucumbers literally melts in your mouth like butter. You have to come here, it's off the scale amazing. Can't wait to come back very soon!

Popped in here after walking out of nearby Arabesque with terrible service. Cinder welcomed us, ensured quick service so we wouldn't miss our show. The wine was perfectly chilled, we ordered bread with dips, beetroot and feta, aubergine main, salmon with pickled cucumber and potatoes. Everything was delicious, cooked perfectly. Service was faultless and friendly. Lovely little place!

📍@cinder_london at @thegrovehotel Starters 🥬Hispi cabbage, chilli, red onion and pine nut salad 🍅Grilled flat bread with confit garlic tahini and burnt tomato salsa - For my bread lovers, you will appreciate the simplicity of fresh, warm bread and this was exactly that. Mains 🐟Whole sea bream with fennel, radish and fresh herbs (for 2 people) - The fish was exceptionally well cooked and was for sure my favourite dish. Plank salmon paired with pickled cucumber and shallots - Again, the fish was cooked to perfection. Sides 🥔Triple cooked new potatoes in black lime salt - Nice addition to our mains, however, I prefer my potatoes a little more fluffy. Green beans, confit shallot vinaigrette Dessert Chocolate mousse with cake crumbles, salted praline and crème fraiche - Incredibly smooth in texture, the toppings were a nice touch😋 🫐Lemon posset, blueberry compote ⭐️Google rating - 4.5 🙋🏻‍♀️My rating - 4.7 Sadly, it was the last day of the @cinder_london pop up at the Grove today. But, you will be pleased to know they have a restaurant in Belsize Park (London). I would certainly recommend visiting, the food was almost faultless. May I add @thegrovehotel has created a beautiful space at The Potting Shed bringing an element of outside in with the wide range of plants and lots of natural lighting. I hope to see more pop ups here over the coming year👀 If you loved what you saw here, check out my instructions - overeatingwither👀

I’ve been to both the Belsize and St John’s Wood locations, both of which are consistently delicious with brilliant service. I’ve never had a bad dish and have tried the majority of the menu.

Overall it's a nice place, please note the dishes are relatively small (tapas style) and it's very pricey for the size

Small lovely restaurant with super friendly staff and delicious fire-cooked food. I had a lovely dinner with my boyfriend here. We loved everything- food, drinks, service, decor, music! The highlights were Seabass Ceviche and Cedar Plank Salmon. They also have small cocktail menu and great selection of wines! Definitely worth the visit!

Great food and wine in this small restaurant. We were asked to move tables to make room for other guests needing a table for 4, part way through our meal.
