I had looked in on Pizza Pilgrims on exiting Finsbury Park Station Wednesday of last week. I was surprised to find, as only the day before, I was reading Pizza by Pizza Pilgrims. I had a chat about pizzas. I did not wish for pizza, as I had eaten earlier at Home Slice in Covent Garden I said I would return on Friday for lunch. Friday, after a coffee at Salt the Radish, I returned for lunch. Very tacky. Is this to fit in with the location? A chain, are they all like this? To replicate an Italian pizza parlour? I don't know. From the outside, it looks like any other fast food outlet in Finsbury Park (of which there are many). Walking in, a large clay pizza oven and an area where pizzas are prepared. Behind the pizza oven, a tacky seating area. And gaming machines to add to the overall atmosphere of tackiness. On display, a couple of copies of Pizza. Friday lunchtime, I was the only customer. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Antonio, Italian pizza maker was very helpful and explained what he was doing. It looks easy, turning the ball of dough into a pizza. As I learnt when I tried a few days later, not as easy as it looks. I chose a simple pizza. I was disappointed. Tasty, but doughy and soggy. On leaving, I took the No 259 bus, which went direct to King's Cross Station.

Me and my boyfriend just left Pizza Pilgrims in Finsbury and the staff was amazing. Welcoming and friendly. Daniel and the manager in charge were very caring and accomodating. The pizza was delicious! And we loved the ambience and all the artwork! We definitely recommend who's around the area and coming to London! Excellent!

Formally “Slice”, this amazing pizza spot never disappoints with its amazing quality, service, and prices. We travel far just to come here, since it is truly a unique Pizza Pilgrims restaurant. Not only is the atmosphere incredibly entertaining, but they also offer free to play arcade games which are just as fun to play for the adults as they are for the children. They offer a variety of creative alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, making this a truly family friendly experience. The pizzas are also extremely high quality, and fill you up at a low price. We paid approximately £15+ for 1 small half and half pizzas with 2 drinks. Truly a wonderful restaurant.

Really truly appreciate the care and amazing customer service yesterday from Nas, Salani and Christian. Their stone baked double pepperoni (beef version because I don’t eat pork) is so fulling and very nice! Will highly recommend with the side pot of honey they gave us. The food was 11/10 and the customer service was amazing! We will definitely be back, thank you again 🤩🤩🤩

Excellent pizza. Decent prices. Nice atmosphere (and some cheesy 80s football). Our pre match ritual before an Arsenal game.

We had a dinner booked to celebrate my brother’s birthday, I would definitely recommend to eat here and spent time having some on of the most best espresso martini in the world. I have *never* been to any restaurant that has been so customer orientated. We went for our daughters 8th birthday after we'd gone bowling at Rowans. The Pizzas were far better than Sodo or Yardsale, and the service better (albeit in a very familiar way) than I have had in Michelin starred restaurants. But it is just a pizza place right? Yes. It is. But that misses the point of good service. The food was excellent, but the free arcade games and games for our children that were initiated by our server were amazing. Angel should be teaching a course on good customer service. My only regret is that i couldn't give a bigger tip due to lack of cash..
