Great place, especially for vegans, large vegan menu. The food was tasty and they provided good sauces, I enjoyed the chicken Bibimbap that was served in a hot bowl that kept the food warm for a long time. This is a non licensed place, so alcohol is not available. The ambiance is good, able to have a good conversation and plenty of seating options available. Each table has a BBQ option if you want to try that section of the menu.

We reserved a table for 4 and we were sat in a booth which was very spacious. The staff were very friendly and very quick. The food came very fast and it was delicious. The price is decent. The atmosphere is very nice. I would go again and I posted this on my Instagram and so many people asked me where this was. It is worth a visit.

I think the food was good but the problem was that we chose very contrasting flavors and that might have affected our assessment but a whole I would recommend it greatly. The location is convenient if you are looking for a Korean bite when visiting the Barbican. The one I must observe is that the restaurant looks recently renovated, so the pictures I've seen from the reviews might not be entirely accurate (especially the facade). However, it's still very easy to spot. The space is a bit packed but nothing to be concerned about, we were just fine. We didn't order the BBQ but by looking at our neighbors it all seemed to work great. Also, making a reservation online took us like 1 min, so it's quite convenient.

Extremely quick service even though the restaurant was busy. It was very clean and the staff were friendly too. As for the food it was amazing it had a bit of spice to it but really delicious. Fully halaal with no alcohol served on the premises. Family friendly and also has space to host bigger groups.

I had a lunch here as a solo diner. I was greeted at the door and quickly shown to a table. The server was polite, though not very attentive. I ordered the vegetable dumplings, a spicy seafood soup, and a lemonade. The food was flavorful and spicy. I was pleased with the meal. I'm here on vacation and stopped by this place on a whim after visiting Velvet Underground next door. I was a bit shocked that this is the most expensive meal I've had in London so far. It was around 32 pounds for lunch for one person.

Good food, great that it was halal meant that I could take my parents to finally try Korean bbq! The quality of meat was good and the bbqs are easy to use. Good portions. Nice clean environment, was a lively atmosphere, waiting staff were friendly. Would come again.

A lovely place with exceptional service !! The staff members were very attentive and helpful as it was our first time trying Korean food. We would love to go again !!! The restaurant is in a very nicely located neighbourhood. (Not a high street) which makes the place quieter.

The prices were reasonable and it was convenient as we were in the area. The Bimbimbap was good. The fried chicken was tasty. They let us sit there for a few hours on a Saturday afternoon, which was great as it was quite chilly outside. Lots of people on other tables were having the bbq. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but I wouldn't not come here again if I was in the area. :p It is quite off the beaten track - between the Barbican and Old Street. There's not much else around, other than the Waitrose. A large restaurant that can definitely fit large groups.

My 2nd time here and it did not disappoint! Service was prompt and staff were friendly. We ordered the vegan crispy tofu, korean spicy fried chicken, kalbi, japchae and the beef glass noodle soup with rice. I have to say everything was delightful. Food was cooked perfectly, we even ordered the beef soup a second time because it was that good. The japchae was delicious and the kalbi was probably my personal favorite. If you’re looking for good halal korean food then I would definitely recommend this place.

Wonderful wonderful food!! Me and my mum came here today and as vegans we had such a delicious dinner! It’s definitely one to add to your ‘To Visit’ list! The staff were so lovely and helpful, the atmosphere was great and it didn’t feel over crowded or like we were pressured to leave after our meal. Lovely place!

I have been here three times now and always love my experience. As a vegetarian, it’s great to have lots of vegan/veggie korean food options. The tteokbokki is so flavourful without being too spicy for me (although I wish it came with mozzarella!). The kimchi fried rice with tofu is always my favourite. The service is always quick and friendly. Definitely recommend if you are vegetarian/vegan! Prices are okay for London I guess, but a little expensive for me, a non Londoner.

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at korean bbq and vegan restaurant .a wonderful halal Korean BBQ and vegan restaurant. The experience was truly exceptional. The ambiance was inviting and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the halal Korean BBQ. The selection of marinated meats and vegetables were not only delicious, but also cooked to perfection right at our table. It's a unique and interactive dining experience that I highly recommend. What impressed me even more was the variety and quality of their vegan options. The menu offered a wide range of flavorful vegan dishes that catered to different preferences.each dish was carefully crafted and bursting with flavor. The attention to dietary preferences and restrictions, along with the commitment to providing halal options, truly sets this restaurant apart. Whether you're a meat lover, vegan, or somewhere in between, korean bbq and vegan restaurant has something exceptional to offer. I can't wait to visit again and explore more of their menu. If you're looking for a place that combines authentic Korean flavors with halal and vegan choices, korean bbq and vegan restaurant is definitely worth a visit."

It’s a fun experience. Would I go again? Yes. They have a selection of marinated meats for you to barbecue at your table and an array of cooked foods for you to have as starters and accompaniments. Decent pricing for the quality of food. I went at 9pm, before closing time, and there were not many people there. Had a great time.

Went here with some family before going into Barbican theatre for a show as it was close by and considering that there were quite a few dietary requirements between us this was a good place to go for a dinner. Loved the fried chicken, they tasted amazing. I had the stir fried udon which was nice and we all shared the bibimbaps, I personally enjoyed the eel one because I loved grilled eel. All round it was a great place to eat, staff were friendly and not overly expensive, however the tables were slightly too close to each other, there was barely a gap to come out from the table next to us.

One of my favourite halal Korean barbecue restaurants in the city. I don’t believe it’s ethnically Korean but the food is spectacular nonetheless. Haven’t tried many of the vegan items yet besides the Sweet Potato Tempura and Kimchi. During my most recent visit I ordered the Bul Dak (grilled chicken and vegetables, deliciously spicy 🌶️ and decently portioned) and my guest ordered the Bulgogi Bibimbap. Would recommend as a weeknight dinner spot, 10/10.

I went with a friend who is a muslim as she wanted to try out Korean food for the first time. The food was lovely. The taste slightly differs from an authentic Korean restaurant as the ingredients are altered to be Halal. Regardless, I had a great time and a full stomach 🙂🙂
