We are very happy we chanced upon this fish and chip shop on our stay in London. We were actually in another area, 2 stops away from the tube but it popped up in google. Very fresh and delicious fish..The staff are all very friendly and helpful, suggested a very good fish (haddock) and the right portion for me and my boy, very honest and not wanting to rip off a tourist. The tartar sauce is heavenly, home made by the owner.
There is even a charger for us tourists in case we need to charge our phones like me...
The rock was amazing. clean batter, clean fish.
The owner was super passionate about his product. l loved the story of the fresh fish and homemade tartar sauce. the large rock with the large fries are a lot.
The advice is to stick to the regular fries and enjoy more of the amazing fish. and be amazed by the owner and his family's passion for the restaurant profession.
I definitely coming back for more and considering to also visit their restaurant up north.
We have ordered Cod & fries specifying that we would eat there. We got both in a carton plate & disposable cutlery. When asking for mayonnaise they wanted to charge extra 40p per sachet. The fish was OK, but the fries were dry and tasteless. We’ve had much better than that in nice places in the city centre (e. g. around Charing Cross).
Best fish and chips in London ,Lamb barbecue also is super good
We shared the cod fish and chips. It was delicious, as were the chips. The children had the sausage children's meal and the chicken children's meal. Everyone left satisfied, but we were stuffed and couldn't finish all of the chips. We hope to come back again.
Excellent service provided by the family that (I think) own this place. Pleasant and passionate about their humble fish and chip shop. Fish batter beautifully crispy, chips hot and fresh. Halal options for sausages also available. Small improvements would include serving fish with a wedge of lemon. Would also suggest making a homemade tartar sauce. Not having ketchup available was a little worrying and a few bottles from a local shop would have been easily achieved.
Support local independents. Must visit.
Been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The fish is always fresh, chips are thick cut and the peas are mushy. The home-made tartare sauce adds a bit of class, too.
Recommended.
First day in London, had to get my fish & chips fix. Also, my family had never had authentic fish & chips. This was a great way to start out. Fish was fresh, oil was clean, chips done just right. I had rock, they had cod. Pineapple fritter was good, too. Thank you for a delicious meal!
Am I really a fan of fish and chips? No, it’s just fish and chips and it’s one of the those things you need to try when you visit the UK. But I absolutely LOVED this one. Everything about it was perfect and the ladies working there were super nice, friendly and proper English ladies, they would call me “love” which made my visit to London feel so cool and really British! If you come to London this is definitely a place to have fish and chips! Everything is fresh and big portions as well!
The Food was great. I ate with my family fish & chips and it was fresh and very nice done. The Maneger was very kind, nice and funny. All in one a very great restaurant and I can recommend it to 100% when you want to eat very delicious Fish & Chips!!!

The food was amazing! Huge Portions! The cod was light and crisp, the chips were crisp and fluffy. We Highly Recommend for this who want a authentic Chippie meal 😍
Delicious, delicious, delicious fish with chips, the taste is beautiful, the service is wonderful, especially from the Iraqi classy person, and the food is fresh and hot
Generous portions. Really good batter and fresh fish. Chips dry and lacking taste, which is shame as the were freshly cut. Service friendly and helpful.
Nice and huge fish and chips and very kind staff.
The home-made sauce was also great 😃.
