Really tasty food, all dishes are beautifully made and well seasoned. I wouldn't say its a perfect place for dinner, as the portion is pretty small. However, this is a great place to have a conversation with someone whilst appreciate lovely food. The menu isn’t big either, if you have special dietary requirements, make sure you check that there are some options for you.

Incredible food, atmosphere, and service. There seem to be a lot of places in London with a good vibe, but Junsei combines an awesome vibe with delicious food - a rare find in my opinion! 10/10 recommend and will definitely revisit when I return to London!

Great Japanese yakitori restaurant in London! This restaurant is comparable to any yakitori restaurants in Japan, if not better! Food is exceptional and the atmosphere is very decent! The staff is even happy to serve us and work extremely hard to make the food and is one of the best in London!

Fresh ingredients, light seasoning to keep the best of food’s original flavor. Can see the chef cooking if you seat by the bar. Perfect atmosphere and friendly staff. Good place to go for a drink after work.

I really love this Japanese yakitori restaurant. The poultry is incredibly fresh, perfectly grilled, and coated with delicious Japanese sauces, resulting in a tender and flavorful dining experience. The Oyako Don, with its combination of chicken, silky egg, and satisfying rice, offers a smooth and satisfying texture. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and excellent service. I will definitely be returning for another visit!

Incredible yakitori dining experience. We booked a reservation for our anniversary and they offer several different cuts of chicken skewers along with other small plates of seafood and beef. The ambiance hits you immediately as you walk in, with the fragrant aroma of the yakitori grills filling the room. The staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable of great sake pairings with whatever we ordered. Definitely one of the better Japanese restaurants in the city that won’t break the bank entirely. Looking forward to our return soon!

I very much enjoyed dining here. The staff were welcoming and gave attentive service, which was nice. The restaurant had a very cosy atmosphere, which made it very pleasant. The menu featured amazing dishes; we had the Wagyu rice dish, Sasami, and Tsukune chicken skewers with a tasty fried chicken skin and salad as a side dish, all very authentic and delicious. For anyone who is looking for a pleasant and not difficult dining experience, definitely come here!!

Had a nice dinner with friend tonight, the vibe is very chill and service is pretty good, they were helping with the water throughout the whole dinner. Enjoy the skewer with special cocktail is very a enjoyable experience. 🍷 Sake martini Delicious sake based drink, warming and the orange blossom really comes through for a refreshing cocktail 🍷 Kyoto’s tail of tea Smoky Japanese whiskey based cocktail that really pairs lovely with the mains with a refreshing but subtle flavour Shiso Maki Not too salty, goes well with soy sauce Reba This liver skewer is great if you’re looking for something fresh and original. Otherwise try the Shiso Maki for a more standard chicken breast skewer. Toufu Crispy and the negi brings a bit of a sweet taste for stand out flavour Ox tongue Super tender and delicious ox tongue with pickled daikon lending a mellow sweetness to complement Chicken skin chips Delicious with the togarashi salt! This was our favourite dish as it’s crispy and has a generous saltiness that doesn’t become overbearing. We loved snacking on them throughout the meal Crab & lobster Donabe Lovely presentation of the dish at the table. The donabe was bursting with umami and had a generous helping of fresh lobster and crab meat. We recommend ordering the osen-tamago(63 ° egg) to add on top!

Got a Groupon for two and was such a lovely experience! I don’t like chicken much but this was incredible (get the thighs!) and the egg yolk domburi was divine. We also received a lovely sparkling wine glass. Definitely recommend it! Lovely atmosphere and you can see the chef cooking.

Especially loved the sea bream bonabe, was a nice surprise rise dish! If you are a rice lover definitely go and try! For skewers, I would highly recommend momo and tebasaki which are chicken thighs and chicken wings. Their desserts are incredibly good as well especially the chocolate fondant, the great tea ice cream has a very nice well-brewed tea flavour. It was a pleasure to have my evening there and all the staff and chef were incredibly nice as well
