We loved our brunch. Sad we were the only people in the restaurant for a good hour but actually we didn't feel anything missing as the staff were great and so friendly but not overwhelming. The food was fab! Lobster roll was delicious and the beignets, YUM! Overall we will be back to experience dinner and the bar.

Beautiful interior. We had dinner on the 1st floor and then went up to the Alligator bar for live music. Great people watching. Food in the restaurant was good, not particularly innovative but good food. Service was mixed. I had to listen to the barman on the 1st floor complaining about his day and then we waited a long time to get serviced in the Alligator bar but the staff on front desk were professional

Food was very good indeed but it was not cheap. Service wasn’t as attentive as I would expect and we had to stand up so the waiter would let us pay the bill

Very nice evening. The restaurant has a cool vibe and the food is very nice - on the pricey side though. I the cocktails were nice also.

Came here for a team dinner recently and it did not disappoint! The service was lovely! Everyone was so attentive.Special mention to George. The food was tasty and the atmosphere was really nice. We had the added bonus of a live band right in front of us. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. Will definitely be coming back!

What an elegant and stylish gem tucked away on an otherwise unassuming street of Covent Garden. We took friends of ours from Southern California to celebrate their anniversary and celebration it was! The food, ambience and service are all top notch. The dining room is one of the most beautiful in town while still being cozy and inviting. Our server was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our conversation with him. Meanwhile the oysters were some of the best we’ve had in London and the wine list is impressive to say the least. BUT the real unexpected highlight was the live jazz on the top floor. Wow! Our night couldn’t have been better. Thanks Louie!

Visited a few weeks back, and the atmosphere is just magnificent. We were looked after by George, who not only made sure we had everything we needed, but also went above and beyond. He recommended the most amazing dishes and he really added to our experience. I would make sure to ask for George upon our next visit, I don't think it can get better than that!

Throughout the 5-day business trip in the UK, I can say this place was the PERFECT place from food to service. Our server Rosy was amazing, her hospitality with kind recommendation on Lobster and Scallop just made our day. Don't forget to order clam chowder and calamari here! You'll regret if you miss these starters.

Really enjoyed our experience at Louie! The food, atmosphere and service were amazing. The drinks hit the spot. I was really impressed with the service. We were looked after by George last night. I’m definitely coming back for a live jazz night another time.

Great venue, over 3 floors. Really nice terrace bar at the top and 2 floors of dining. The food and drinks were excellent. The turbot was amazing and the sauce that accompanied it was superb. Very good portions as well. Be prepared it is on the expensive side. But worth it for setting, food and service

Wow what an experience. First off let me say that the passion fruit mojito I tried was one of the best I have ever had. The space has a great atmosphere and vibe. But one thing that is above the rest is the staff. They have an incredible flow and are very attentive. I must of course give a shout out to Kate Britten☺️

Impeccable. It's hard to find a fine dining establishment that leaves you thinking, yes that was worth the price. I can't fault a single one of the dishes, but if I was pushed to choose I think crab cakes edge the octopus for starters and as well prepared as the lamb was the lobster was sensational. I'm sceptical when lobster is served out of the shell (I enjoy the feeling that I earned that tasty claw meat when I finally crack it open lol) but the BBQ lobster here was just wow. If you only order one dish, I'd go for this. The chocolate dessert was a delightful end to the meal. Wasn't too sweet and surprisingly less rich than it looked. Worth noting that Louie is far more New Orleans influenced than purely French (as Google seems to state) and it was nice getting to talk to Slade around the inspiration for the menu. All the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. If you do have time, worth visiting the bar upstairs, Le Bar. Beautiful space with even better cocktails, Renaud definitely knows how to make a drink. Overall, yes this place is expensive but you actually get what you pay for, unlike many overpriced restaurants in London. Next time someone asks me for a recommendation for a "nice" restaurant I'm going with Louie.

From the personal and professional reception to our digestifs our evening was faultless. It was a busy Saturday night in the first floor restaurant and it had a lovely warm atmosphere. Comfortable sofa's, attentive and enthusiastic staff, beautiful food and wonderful wine. We felt very relaxed and we definitely enjoyed the moment! Please save space for dessert. Michael the head pastry chef visits the tables to share his passion and advise on his menu. Such a nice touch and we wanted to try all of them. There is always next time... Thank you to all the Team at Louie! Bravo et À Bientôt!

Aedra (?) makes a great old fashioned upstairs and Guido was very helpful choosing the right dishes. The gumbo & pecan tart were amazing! A New Orleans inspired menu set in a beautiful decor & ambience!

Lovely lunch. The lobster roll was a bit disappointing, the brioche bun was not soft and crunchy enough and the chips were quite salty. Scallop carpaccio was alright, loved the sauce as it gives out a Thai fragrance. Beef tartare was also good!

I’m honestly so surprised to see this many bad reviews… but I had a wonderful experience. The manager was really nice, greeted us when we got seated. Our server was really nice as well. The food was amazing! I moved to london last October but I’ve been to so many popular restaurants in the city, Louie has the best food so far among the ones I tried. I’ll def come back! I don’t drink alcohol but the mock-tail I got was wonderful. Our server offered really great suggestions. I’ll encourage you to try this restaurant yourself :)

Have always had an amazing experience at Louie! The food and service is excellent. We had wonderful Oysters and Scallop Carpaccio as starters with a delicious Rockefeller Martini. Highly recommend the Monkfish and Turbot. They also have great vegetarian options! Ended the night with a Bread Pudding. You can also enjoy some great cocktails in their third floor terrace. This is definitely a must if you are in London!

First time in this trendy restaurant. Always a risk in London where you pay a lot for something at best mediocre. This one is one exception as the food from ‘New Orleans’ is excellent (I will recommend crab cake, seafood combo and the fondant - cf pictures). Even better is the service which start from the team at the door welcoming, the lady who placed us in the restaurant followed by the barman and finally the server Delroy. The best combination in my view: excellent food, cocktails and first class service.
