There are fewer things that can beat a Friday night dinner with your best mate. Then you add hot double pepperoni pizza with smokey honey and a 4-pint pitcher of pale ale for one. You see my friend doesn’t drink alcohol which I admire and normally I only have a drink once in a while. So a big of jug of beer certainly sent the tweety birds flying around my head. 🤣 Now all I’d eaten yesterday was almonds, strawberries and banana so my stomach was craving for pizza. I even convinced myself that I might eat 2 which I dreamt about. But such was the quality of conversation and food that I only managed the 1. I wasn’t sure about honey on a pizza but it was delicious but did make the base kinda soggy. At one point I asked my buddy if I could try some of his which of course he was happy to. I replied ‘so does that mean you want some of mine?’ 🤣 Remember ‘Joey doesn’t share food’. 🙌🏾 Anyways 3 hours later we hugged, burped and went our separate ways home. Fantastic evening as always and I’ll return to Pilgrims guaranteed.

This place came highly recommended by a friend. So we hit it up the very first day. It was definitely worth it. Very delicious 😋 which was a rarity in London overall when it came to food. Fresh and cooked perfectly.

Pizza was decent with an interesting choice of toppings. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. I think I prefer more traditional pizza places but that is just me! I would definitely go again for somewhere easy before the theatre.

Love it here, amazing pizza and lovely atmosphere! Service could be faster and cleaner but overall I will come again. I eat double pepperoni with spiced honey and loved it so much. It was delicious.

Great vegan pizza, and house red wine. Entirely justified queues form quickly, so get there early if you can. Very much worth the wait and worth eating in. Lovely staff and atmosphere. Highly recommend.

The pizza was great, I can only pity that the portions could not be bigger. The service was nice and the price was pretty good. There are some tasty beers and soft drinks to try along the dish. What could be improved on are the desserts. What’s on is more nutella-based than Italianesque.

The pizza was really really delicious, definitely recommend. The service was nice, but it's not possible to pay cash. Which is for foreigners really uncommon. but in totally definitely recommend.

Peter at Pizza Pilgrims A Professional and Delightful Dining Experience My recent visit to Pizza Pilgrims was made even more memorable, thanks to the exceptional service provided by our waiter, Peter. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, Peter's professionalism and warm demeanor made our dining experience truly enjoyable. As soon as we were seated, Peter greeted us with a big smile, instantly setting a positive tone for the evening. His friendly vibes and genuine enthusiasm were infectious, making us feel welcomed and at ease. It was evident that he took pride in his work and genuinely cared about providing excellent service. One aspect that stood out was Peter's knowledge about the food on the menu. He took the time to explain the various pizza options and even offered insightful suggestions based on our preferences. His explanations were clear and detailed, which made it easier for us to decide what to order. It was evident that he had a passion for the culinary offerings of the restaurant, and it translated into how he shared the information with us. Beyond being a fantastic waiter, we were thrilled to learn about Peter's design projects. It's clear that he has diverse talents and interests beyond the restaurant industry. We genuinely hope that his design endeavors bring him the success and recognition he deserves. Throughout the meal, Peter was attentive to our needs without being intrusive. Our glasses were never empty, and he ensured that we had everything we required to savor our pizzas fully. His ability to strike the perfect balance between being present and giving us space was truly commendable. By the end of the evening, it felt like we were not just customers, but rather friends sharing a delightful dinner. Peter's genuine approach to his work and his kind personality left a lasting impression on us, and we will undoubtedly be returning to Pizza Pilgrims, hoping to have him as our waiter again.

The neapolitan pizza was delicious. The down side: we came an hour before closing time. They started putting away the beer tent sets outside about 45 minutes before closing time. Anyone who‘s ever put one away, knows that you have to slam the metal legs into the table to do so. So that’s what they did, while still having a lot of guests sitting outside next to it. We just wanted to enjoy our pizza but that was really annoying. They could wait with putting them away until at least the guests outside are gone. All in all: I can still recommend it but come earlier in the day.

A very cool and friendly pizzeria! You can choose some pizza with a lot of neat designs, there are also cool desserts, like the famous "Nutellamisu"! The personal is also very sympathetic! Will definitely come back here again when going again to London

Lovely pizza as good as I've had in the uk. Just have to up the service game. It was Sunday so maybe they were understaffed but no one checked on us at all. That being said I would definitely come back because the pizza was great & everyone has an off day.

Amazing Loved the atmosphere, and the staff were great. They allowed our dog to come in which was lovely as he just slept on the floor AND they do gluten free. They do not charge extra for gluten free and the base was incredible! I will be coming back. They can make any pizza gluten free. Also the white truffle dip was lovely, very much like a garlic dip but a lot more luxury:) The interior design is lovely too as I like the way it’s decorated, as well as the music that was playing in the background. 5*

The Pizza was fantastic, hands down. It was very noisy and felt a little cramped, and the service was a little lackluster. But if you like Italian style pizza, this is the place to go in London!

A very nice pizzeria. Good beer, at a good price for the pitcher. Pizza was very good, albeit not great. Service was likewise good, but not great (as our waiter disappeared for a little while). Nice outdoor seating. I'd gladly come back here for pizza again!

Perfect dinner catching up with a friend - we didn't book as it was last minute but they found us a table super fast. Jordan our server was friendly and attentive and went out of his way to make recommendations for us (which were excellent). I am vegan and gluten free and I was easily catered for which was a real relief. Thanks for a lovely evening!

The Carbonara pizza I had here was amazing! I love carbonara and it was basically the pasta dish but on a pizza, even with some cooked spaghetti cooked into it! I didn't expect it to taste as good as it was. Hope it's on when I next return

We have visited twice in the last couple of months. The restaurant has a nice relaxed atmosphere and it's handy only being a 5 minute walk from Waterloo. On both occasions, the service was excellent and we were presented with our meals very quickly. The pizzas are large and the flavours are excellent. The side dips were good too. Will definitely return.
