The restaurant itself was a bit difficult to find because when we went lots of the building's doors were locked. Another family of tourists was also lost, so we walked around the building together until we finally found one set of unlocked doors. When we went, it was not yet super busy, but we were sitting toward the back of the restaurant so when the dinner rush came in, our servers forgot about us. Two tables that arrived after us were served everything (drinks, apps, main courses) before us. Usually, I don't get too bothered by this, but my bestie and I were starving lol. The staff were really friendly, but they were definitely stretched a bit thin. The food itself was great. Beware though, that the portions are very big. Our server told us the thalis are meant for one person each but neither of us finished even half of our thalis (bestie got veg and I got the non-veg). The naan wasn't my favorite. Every piece that I tasted was just a smidge too charred/bitter -- luckily there was plenty of other delicious food in front of me that I couldn't finish haha. Would recommend for the flavors. Try to avoid the rush hours, or ask for a seat in the front if available.

Nice setup at Harvey Nichols with a menu of popular dishes of Madhu’s. Service is attentive and helpful. Food as expected is of high standard in particular signature black dal. Sag aloo is fresh, we would have preferred Palak Paneer. Would return for biryani!! Would love if menu is expended to include one vegetarian dish each in starter and mains.

Having been to Madhus at the Sheraton Heathrow a couple of years ago, I was in Knightsbridge today so thought I'd pay a visit. Kishor our server was outstanding, the quality of food was impeccable and the prices are what you would expect in central London. The prawns were excellent, the lamb biryani looks like it's a small pot but when you take it out is more than enough. The seekh kebabs and chilli paneer were very nice. The table was nice and clean as were the toilets. I look forward to going back again.

Does the food serve a purpose of you’re shopping in Knightsbridge or it’s vicinity and fancy an Indian? Absolutely! Would you go out of you way to book this in advance no, London has too many better options if you are after food quality. The food does not have the complexity of flavours of top end restaurants. How many if judged on location, convenience, price and service this offers something. Not sure if the average Harvey Nichols shopper has Lamb Biryani carvings often enough whilst shopping for Louboutin’s for this venture to survive the long run. I personally hope it does, but I suspect as a middle aged Indian man I’m not the target audience.

Amazing food and service. You must try their Thali's (Veg or Meat). Besides the Thali, Paneer Chilli, Samosa's, Palak Patta Chaat, Lamb Karahi and Prawns Moily are mouthwateringly delicious. The biryani's are superb! For dessert - Ras Malai, Gajjar ka Halwa and Gelato ice creams are to die for!

The staff member took care of us, was really a great host, you won't ask for any better service, The beer was excellent, Food was great, but my wife said one of the dishes was hot for her, hot as in chili hot, and she would've preferred it less hot, They are clean, the prices are to the higher end, but not that much, enough food for two was for 66 pounds, and we were satisfied

Warmly greeted by the happy and attentive host. We chose the veg and non veg thalis , pleased to say that every dish was delicious, well seasoned and completely authentic. Butter chicken had the lovely creamy texture whist retaining a good balance of spice. The accompanying rice, naan and yoghurt rounded off a beautiful plate of food. My young daughter had the chicken tikka which was flavourful and moist. We capped the meal off with a beautiful masala chai and they even made a hot chocolate for my daughter (to her delight!). A perfect meal and end to the day.

This place isn't visible on the downstair and you should find the lift. People there are really kind. The food is amazing, and generous. We really appreciate our time there.

One of the best Indian restaurants with exceptional service. I dined at this restaurant with my family for lunch and then returned back the following day for dinner. On both the occasions our waiter was Manoj at this fine dining establishment which is based in Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge on the 5th floor. The service and the food was exceptional and definitely the best Indian cuisine I’ve ever tasted in my life. It’s an experience and worth the visit. Madhu’s Brasserie when ever I fancy Indian food will always be at the top of my list when visiting central London. Look forward to my next visit !
