First time at this place but I can guarantee further visits. Really great food! I’ve got the day special, Pork Stew with potato, rice, beans, cassava flour and salad.

Absolutely delicious, I visited London for a couple of days and this was definitely the best food I had on my trip. Perfect seasoning and the service was lovely too, and I really enjoyed the music as well.

A regular at this premise who was first lured into trying the food due to the smells when walking past the neighbourhood. The owners Marcio and Marina have been serving me well during my visits and this food stall has become one of my favourite restaurants ever since.
P.S. they portion and price ratio is also excellent for London price. I would say it costs less than £10/pp for someone with a normal appetite. I just happen to eat a lot to spend £20 on my visits.
They do not have an enormous menu or a late working hour compare to the common fast food takeouts. However they serve high quality and fresh ingredients which are then prepared with care and love. They also serve daily specials, which include the famous Brazilian stew, or some even call it the national dish, Feijoada.
All of the ingredients are fresh, and cooked to perfection. The beef and chicken are grilled to the perfect tenderness, so they are still moist and juicy on the inside. Salad is fresh, well balanced and their vinaigrette is highly refreshingly which is a good touch to a carb/meat heavy meal. Rice and beans are also well cooked and seasoned, it’s not mushy and also flavourful. You can also see from my pictures that they also don’t skim out with the meat on their sandwiches. I don’t dare to eat them on the street as I know I will guarantee drop some of the meat while devouring it.

Absolutely love grabbing lunch here. Food is so yummy. The staff are always incredibly sweet. They seem to have a really good relationship with their customers which makes for a great atmosphere
Really great and tasty food here. Meat cooked over the coals tasted delicious and a great lunch spot. I had the beef skewer sandwich served in a delicious roll with hot mayonnaise and the best beef I've had in a while. Highly recommended.
The food is delicious, worker is polite and friendly. Good place to sit during rainy day.
Oh wow yeah really tasty. Cycled past, smelled good, and made sure to stop on my way back for lunch. Love pork belly, lucky me it was today’s special.
Pop Skewer is a fabulous slice of Brazilian culture in a central location, just a 10/15 minute walk from either Shadwell or Tower Hill stations.
Special thanks to Lucas for recommending the special of the day (Friday) which was the Frango Assado (photographed). For the price it was *very* filling, a well-balanced meal and of course delicious!
