Bar Des Pres was fantastic in every aspect! From when you walk in, the venue has a sophisticated charm with Moody lighting and music. The staff are engaging and know the menu so well and can make recommendations and answer any questions you might have. I even ordered a cocktail I didn't enjoy, and they noticed and swapped it for another free of charge, which I greatly appreciated. All the food was delicious; my two standouts were the crunchy crab and avocado dish and the prawn sushi.

It was the second time for us at Bar des Prés. The food is beautiful, especially if you love sushis but everything is just so tasty. A bit pricey but the quality is just at another level. It's the perfect place to celebrate 🥂

Situated in the heart of Mayfair, Bar des Prés is a Franco-east Asian restaurant that began life in Paris and is headed up by a celebrity chef Cyril Lignac. This is the first international venture for chef Lignac and is an evolved version of the original Saint-Germain restaurant. Elegant and chic decor, and ambience. Service is attentive, smiley and efficient. Memorable dishes: millefeuille with pecan nut praline/Carb Galette/

Best food in London 🤩 We enjoyed every single bite there. The mashed potato is a must have. The California maki exceeded our expectations and the desserts were really amazing.

That was my first Lignac's restaurant out of France. An overall great experience. A great list of wines. The dishes were beautiful and really tasty. Really good cocktails as well. Last but not least, the service was top class. Going back on the dinner experience, the famous photogenic crunchy crab had too much curry. That was almost more or less the only taste in mouth. Apart from that, the other dishes were really delicious. We really loved the satay beef fillet and the black cod caramelized. And this indecent chocolate soufflé... My mouth is watering thinking about it. Highly recommended!

We stumbled on the restaurant by accident whilst looking for another bar to have a drink. The hostess kindly accommodated us with a seat at the bar although we didn’t have a reservation and squeezed us in downstairs before the rush. What a wonderful opportunity to discover the place, lovely environment, great wine menu and the food seemed delicious if it is all as great as the tuna california rolls I got tempted to nibble on😍 I think it is worth it and perhaps found my new favourite place in London. Price being a little on the higher end, I don’t find it shocking for Mayfair nor for London at all living near central for over 7 years. The staff attention, quality of the place, and the service from the door to the check made us feel it was more than worth it.

Visited this evening and was amazed by the quality of the food, the level of service and the presentation and ambience of the restaurant. The soufflé in particular was incredible.

Very good restaurant, still bookable and affordable as it recently opened. Being a Cyril Lignac restaurant, I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes famous and/or gets a Michelin star in the future. I do suggest sharing, dishes are not very big so you'd want at least 3 starters and 2 mains to share with 2 people. They have all type of options, however I would say you'll enjoy it more If you can eat fish / seafood.
