My wife and I love Poke but there aren't any Poke restaurants near to where we live so we are constantly searching for new places to try that we can drive to for a treat. I found Hawaiian Poke on Google and thought I would give it a try. So glad I did!
Our poke bowls were constructed with care and attention and looked wonderful when done. They tasted as good as they looked, all ingredients were fresh and tasted great. The number of items to choose from was fantastic, definitely the most I've encountered of any Poke restaurants in the UK. They also offer home made mochi and other items which I will be trying out soon I'm sure.
One of my favourite things is when I find a small business that is making such an effort to provide quality food and service and I'm happy to say that this business is a perfect example. More of a booth than a restaurant, only takeaway is possible but in these times that is just fine. Hopefully with the success that this business deserves the owner will be able to expand to somewhere where you can spend some time and eat in. The owner was incredibly welcoming and provided great service, we will certainly be returning soon.
Edit: The Mochi is really good. I think I may have a new addiction
Best poke ever tried! High quality fresh food at a very good price. Wide variety of toppings and homemade gluten free soy sauces. Really kind owner with a great attention to details.
Entrance shared with other shops, so it may not be so visible from the street.
A delight for the senses. So happy to have found this hidden gem. My poke bowl was carefully crafted with fresh ingredients. Was pleased to see organic quinoa as an option for the base where typically only brown rice/sushi rice/greens are offered. Plus the amount of protein, toppings, sauces, and garnishes really are next level. This is no ordinary poke shop! Already looking forward to my next visit.
