Visited this morning and the lady that served me was so lovely and positive, which is often not the case with chain cafes. As always with Gail’s, food and coffee was great quality. This one also has some nice seating outside which is perfect in the sunshine.
Everything we’ve ever ordered is always excellent quality. Egg brioche sliders 🍔 or chicken Parmesan buns are stand out favourites along with the fantastic sour dough loaves in all varieties. Have been regular customers since opening and have never been disappointed. Great addition to Guildford! Kee
I'm not a huge fan of chains, but the service from these guys early in the mornings is excellent. Here visiting and the avo on toast for breakfast is great. Pastries selection is excellent, could do with more savoury in the mornings.
Popped in this afternoon to escape the rain and had a great time! Chai latte was faultless and exciting to see the Christmas products which had just launched (Christmas croissant was delicious) and fab service from Jordan and Trinity 💫
Great coffee and nice cakes. The staff is working fast, excellent service. Happy the weather was nice, .. we enjoyed our drinks outside, inside the music was to laud.
Only had a latte but service was very polite and friendly. Prices are fair for the offering. There are tempting snacks and pastries available along with sour dough bread.
The best Tea in Guildford, fantastic sweet and savoury and a really lovely team behind the counter (past and present). Full of praise for Jax who does such a great job of running the show.

I'm in love 🥺❤️ Gail's is my new favorite bakery in guildford so far. Their pastry AMAZING, their service AMAZING, their drinks AMAZING. What else would you need for perfect bakery to be? You literally need to try Blueberry Danish Danish and cinnamon roll. Damn great!!
Opened less then a week and it’s very busy, also having it in Tunsgate adds more variety. And what will make Gail’s Bakery even more popular is the fact that it has huge seating area inside as well as outside and it bénits from the closed area inside the Tunsgate.
Jas (Jaz?) gave outstanding service to me and my friend when we visited Gail's in Guildford. The Five Stars are specifically for her - if I could give more then I would. She is a credit to the company and defines friendly, hospitable and kind customer service.
Busy on the weekend we visited but slick to order and be out. Lovely crisp pastries.
