Recently signed up as a member. Any purchases you make are discounted if you have a members card, if you don't just give them your email address you used to sign up. Very large range of products at this Angel branch along with options to purchase hot drinks.
Staffs were very nice and helpful. Chocolate and ice cream are excellent. Especially I was impressed by their ice cream. It looks white on the picture, but it's actually beige. I was wondering what the flavour was. It wasn't vanilla. It wasn't chocolate. I had looked up their website and learnt that it's actually infused with roasted cacao nibs. I normally do not favour chocolate ice cream (though I love chocolate itself), I loved their ice cream. I would probably have it without any sauce this time. It was so nice.
Beautiful chocolate crafted in a unique style, limiting the amount of sugar but ensuring deep and rich chocolate flavours. Personally I favour the plain dark chocolate products, because I don't ever want to undermine that taste. Hotel Chocolat is quite adventurous in their selection however, so this is well worth exploring.

The iced hot chocolate was unfortunately not to my liking however the staff were nice and helpful, signed me up for their loyalty card to receive 20% off which was great. Had charging points which was a lifesaver as my phone was about to run out of battery!
It's my chocolate heaven and l was surprise when l was at the Angel a few ago weeks and noticed they had opened a shop there. I'm like a child in a candy shop, l now walk around with a big smile on my face. I'm really enjoying the vegan dark chocolate barons, and just purchase the Velvetiser the hot chocolate taste amazing. I'm recommending it to all my friends and family 😄😄
Great staff who were happy to help with anything we needed. I often visit Hotel Chocolat to buy my favourite chocolates, and was even happier to find out that there was an offer on for them!!! My little stop here definitely brightened up my day, even though the sky was grey...
The staff were both very friendly and knowledgeable of their products - I was able to go in and order from the cafe feeling safe as precautions were taken against COVID-19 well! The store presentation is also neat & thus easy to pick out what you want!
Absolutely in love with the choc shakes. Hot chocolate really good too, I could never have the powdered Cadbury stuff again

It's great to have a Hotel Chocolat shop in Islington. If you're a chocoholic or know someone who loves chocolates this is the place to visit, they have a variety of chocolate based products that come in decorative packaging. They're perfect for giving as gifts. Staff are lovely here very helpful when it comes to assisting you and handling any queries.
Lovely staff handled an issue with our transaction very well. Very good selection plus their small cafe selection, plus the ice cream.
