I was in Brunswick Square for a Greek event. I came across Meat Liquor and decided to go in. At first I wasn't sure of the loud music and dim lights, but I soon adjusted. We ordered 2 burgers, chips and onion rings. I had a beer and my wife had a cocktail. Well the onion rings were enormous, and good. I really enjoyed this sudden meal.
Just brilliant. Popped in quickly on my way through London for a Chilli Cheeseburger and Hot Dusted Nashville Fries & a Pint of Steigl.
Beer came quickly - nice and cold. Food followed around 10 minutes later and was perfect. The fries were fresh, hot and crispy and the burger was excellent. Just the right amount of toppings without making it really messy!
The lunchtime deal is awesome, £11.95 for a main and a side - saves you about a fiver so all good 🍔🍟🍺☺️
We went on a Wednesday, a very unexpectedly busy night for the restaurant, but service couldn't compare. 1 bartender, 1 server/host woman who clearly does a bit of everything- she was working extremely efficiently getting things done done done!! She did not stop. Well done, the industry needs more people like her. Food was also fantastic of course!! Yum!! We had bacon cheeseburger and dead hippee, with sides of monkey fingers S&P fries and Mac N Cherizo- delicious!!!!
The whole dining experience here was excellent. The staff are very friendly and attentive, they also answered all the questions we had about menu items right away.
The food was absolutely delicious, the Dead Hippie burger is one of the best burgers I've ever had and the Mac and cheese bites are insane!
The drinks were just as nice with a fantastic section of soft drinks, cocktails etc.
Service was incredibly quick and the decor inside is different than normal places, but it fits in nicely with the atmosphere of the place.
Overall it was an amazing experience and I'm looking forward to coming back again when I'm next in London.
Would give 6* for also being very lgbt friendly :)
I order tower burger and hot spicy fries. Food is okay, the meat is dry and sauce combination is not great. But the waiter service is good and I like the photo booth area (need to pay for £5 to get the picture). The toilet is dark and scary, I won’t go downstairs alone in the evening to be honest.
I visited with my fellows in the evening. The taste was awesome. The place has a beautiful view. A good place to eat food, drink, spend time and take pictures with loved ones
Just space-level fantastic. Real good atmosphere and vibe, interiors are a mix of grunge, industrial, americana and whatnot.
The Supreme Emperor of all burgers, the Dead Hippie, is mind-blowing level of gorgeously tasty: it's like having unicorns make rainbow love on your tongue. Oh boi, I don't have the English in me to convey how good that burger is.
The fries are also fabulous, crisp, coarse, seasoned to perfection. The blue cheese sauce dip is most certainly laden with H, because I now crave it on literally everything i eat, breakfast included. I just wanna drown in it.
Courteous staff, great toilets. Prices on the higher end of the spectrum for this kind of venue, yet in line with similar establishments and absolutely worth it for what you get (hint: foodgasms, what you get is multiple foodgasms).
Verdict: shutupandtakemymoney.gif
Never fails to disappoint with boozy cocktails and greasy burgers, if you’re in the mood for meaty, quick, loud and fun then head to any venue over London. Staff are polite, quick and fun. The venue is dark and moody with red strip lights and a fun Photo Booth and pool table.
Swap out the bun for rabbit style. Great stop off before a night out!
The food was pretty tasty except the mushroom burger...which two of us ordered and both found to be very bland. The selection of drinks made for an interesting dining experience. It turned out to be quite expensive as a 12.5% gratuity charge was automatically put on the bill. It's much more than we would have wanted to tip. The waitress was friendly enough but she didn't come back and we ended up paying at the bar. It's difficult to say no to the gratuity because one doesn't want to offend. But I definitely prefer deciding if/how much I want to tip.
I walked in on my way to pick up my car and was very impressed. I was met by a very bubbly, polite, Portuguese girl who sat me at a table instantly. It wasn't really hot inside and it had a great vibe. I had my soda water (which was free), and ordered within 3 minutes. The food took about 10 minutes and was presented nicely. The onion rings were really tasty and the burger was cooked perfectly. The only gripe that I have is that I don't like restaurants that put gratuity on for me. I like to give tips as I feel it's more personal and makes the staff feel more valued. Other than that 10/10, keep up the good work.
A great place for burger lovers with a great variety of options and toppings. The drinks selection is very extensive and the milkshakes are worth a try. Some interesting vegetarian and vegan options also. Well located in the shopping centre and close to the cinema.
