I’ve been these so many times that I thought I might come here to leave a review! I love the hot chocolate (43%) and milkshake (55%) - choosing the % of chocolate is amazing! I also like the ice cream (vanilla and pistachio), lemon drizzle cake and salted caramel shortbread. Though I must say the lemon drizzle cake portion seems to be getting smaller and when I first ordered the salted caramel seemed the be the whole square, then the lady cut it in half and I was ☹️
Other than that, food quality is amazing, staff is friendly and I love eating in the Heath, relaxing with the view ☺️
I tried their chocolate and peanut butter milkshake with 70% cocoa and was the best milkshake ever. It was super rich and thick, you can tell they use good quality chocolate and it's like drinking delicious melted chocolate. You can choose the percentage of cocoa. Amazing! Will need to have it more times and come back when weather gets cold to try their hot chocolates, must be great!
One of the best mini cafes around! The hot chocolate is some of the best in London. The milkshakes are sublime and the coffee superb. The staff are also always delightful. My favourite place! Wish they had a sit down area as I’d definitely spend more time there but then I guess it wouldn’t be a ‘nook’!
Relatively small dessert shop situated by the park; it was a cute little spot to go to.
Really ventured out with having two kinds of desserts, but nevertheless, I was satisfied. I enjoyed my milk chocolate milkshake. Tastes very rich and chocolatey, not overwhelmingly sweet.
Also went for the stracciatella game ice cream which was lovely with the chocolate shavings. Slightly pricy, but as a one-time treat, it’s ok.
Service here was up to standards
My favourite café in Hampstead Heath. Great service, great prices. The competition / nearby coffee chains should watch out. The croissants they serve are the best ones in London.
I loved my 70% hot chocolate on oat milk. And the staff were so friendly and efficient. Highly recommend The Nook!

I thought it was about time I left those guys some feedback. We absolutely love The Nook. We've been customers since they opened the café and quite honestly, we can't be happy with a coffee from anywhere else, as it's never quite Nook's quality!!! I am a "Mocha person", and I love that they give you the choice of having different cocoa strengths (personally I prefer my mocha not too sweet). My husband always sings praises to their flat white and capuccinos!
And what to say about the staff and customer service? We can't complain, in fact we always enjoyed going in and having a quick chat - and I find that even when they are super busy (ahhh Hampstead Heath on weekends 😱) the staff is still very pleasant, efficient and helpful. They are also so good with our two chatty (sometimes grumpy) toddlers! Big shout out to Agna & Callum, who have been there a while now and are always super friendly. But really, all of them are great. Keep up the amazing work!!

Undisputedly the best hot chocolate in London! Great range of flavours and extras and really friendly staff.
Cute small place. No sitting room really. Got the hot chocolate, which was good. Milder than I thought, portion smaller as well.
Absolutely delightful. One of the best chocolate milkshakes I’ve had in London. The blood orange sorbet was incredibly flavourful, and the iced oat latte was made to perfection.
55% hot chocolate was delicious!! Service was great the new staff were welcoming and joyful which is a bonus!

I always wished to have a good speciality coffee shop around Hampstead Heath so that I can pick my coffee and go for a walk at the Heath. My wish came true! Their baristas know what they are doing, I can guarantee that. Not only they do the best coffee in Hampstead Heath area (they use beans from Origin Coffee - one of the best in London), they also do the best hot chocolate, milkshakes and ice cream! Cookies are incredible as well, and I know if I get to try everything there I will love all of it. They are environmentally friendly as well, in every way. Support this local independent shop, whenever possible. We need more small businesses like The Nook in London.
Amazing new local Coffee Shop - they do the BEST dark hot chocolate made with real dark chocolate pieces. Perfect for a cold winter's day! Love this place so much.
The BEST coffee spot ! Coffee is insane & dogs always get a treat. The staff are lovely & the tiny space is adorable ! My go to :)
