Excellent place to have lunch, the food is prepared from fresh so you wait a while but it's worth it. The 2 or 3 course lunch menu is great value for money. Very attentive staff, clean and great food.

Excellent value lunch deal. £11.99 for 2 courses. Filika, Otto and Gezi on Wanstead High Street have really put their prices up for lunch deals, making it almost prohibitive, unless it's a very occasional trip. It was almost empty when I popped in. Service was efficient and fast. Food was delicious and generous. I ordered an aubergine starter and salmon for my main. It was accompanied by complimentary bread, yogurt dip, another dip and a generous salad. Would definitely go back and I highly recommend it.

They have amazing staff that are ready to make the stomper satisfied. The food is just outstanding. The way they present it the way they make it is just amazing. The atmosphere is so calming and relaxing and the space between each set of table and chairs are just the right amount . Each family no matter how big or small can enjoy their time out at Salash

Great tasting food and the quality has been consistent over the past 4 visits. Slightly overpriced though. However, their service is always prompt and assisting. Worth visiting but parking somewhat limited in surrounding area. Also, ordered their food twice before via Deliveroo and tasted great. (Note: on the back of their menu has a massive error of content - it is not a Lahore, Pakistan restaurant 😐😣)

It is one of a kind. An incredible staff attends the restaurant, but also the food is exquisite and full of flavours and cooked to perfection. I'm of those people that love taking the family out for a meal and feel like we are at home every time we go to a restaurant. Salash Kitchen is one of those places where you can feel at home in the way the staff treats you, plus the food will make you feel satisfied and happy for having the opportunity to eat in one of the best restaurants in the area. So go and try it, you will know what I'm talking about, and you won't regret it.

Very generous management! You don't need to buy starters! they brought everything extra even that we ordered some this is dine in and for take aways as well! the food is delicious and the kitchen is flexible if you want to add or change something in your order! The service is good, however I would recommend the restaurant to hire a staff member that can speak english and understand more better the requirements/needs. I also ask The manager the difference between two dishes he couldn't really answer my question and he was reading on my menu. I don t want someone to read but rather someone who can explain... But overall everything was good and delicious!

Nice restaurant on the main high road at South Woodford. Stopped in for a late afternoon lunch on the way home. Decorated to a very high, quality standard with soft chairs, high quality wood tables and a touch of class with the light fixtures and wall decoration. The music is light and non-intrusive consisting of mainly indie covers (which were not terrible either). The menu has all you would hope for and expect from a Turkish restaurant including mix grill, calamari, chicken wings, kofte and lamb. I had the chicken wings and Jiz Bhiz kofte which were both very well done and had plenty of flavour, no complaints at all. The burger sauce that accompanies the Jiz Bhiz is excellent and some of the best I've tasted in London. The Turkish bread was very nice, and although one or two were a little too crispy the majority were very nice and had a soft doughy texture inside which was pleasant. I was a little disappointed that it didn't have that classic Turkish charcoal bread taste I always look for though. So while pleasant, the bread was a little bland on flavour. The bread came along with two sauces, one garlic yoghurt and the other a tomato chili, both nice. I would have like to have seen some Turkish salad but unfortunately, none was brought out. This could be because our food was from the starter menu though and I would like to think that if a main meal was ordered, the salads would accompany. The drinks were as expected. The staff were friendly, polite and attentive making sure we were happy with the food throughout and we were offered some complimentary Turkish delight and a lollipop. The prices at Salash were also reasonable if on the slightly higher side of the scale with our meal coming to just under £20. All in all, very good and would return another time for dinner.

My first time eating here, I've usually gone to another Turkish restaurant in South Woodford. I was not disappointed with my first time eating here. Salash have a lunchtime menu with the option for a starter and a main for £11.45 if I remember correctly. I went with this option, chicken skewers with some rice for my main and Falafel for my starter. I cannot complain with either of these, the service was prompt and polite. The meal was finished with a Turkish tea and Turkish delight (can't go wrong) Would I recommend, yes I would. Enjoy

Food was fantastic. Staff and service much better than the restaurant's previous incarnation. Take away menu is great. Will return again in the not too distant future. Good to see the restaurant busy. Well recommended. The restaurant changed hands again and the quality of the food has improved. During our last visit there was a live musical act that complimented the atmosphere.

Excellent quality of food and ambience.Very friendly staff as well. Price is a little on the higher side, but acceptable enough. Only reason I gave a 4 star instead of a 5 is because the mix kebab and chicken shwarma did not come with salad. The lack of moisture and variation without salad on these dishes hampered the experience of the respective dishes.

Nice clean restaurant, excellent food and loads of staff to look after you. Not rushed. Even felt like they purposely extend your stay. Calm background music. We could barely finish 60% of the meal (dinner for two). Only ordered two mains and drinks. Plenty of side salad, warm bread, tadziki, pickled onions and potato tomato style sauce to have with bread while wait for food. After the meal they offer traditional Turkish tea and baklava (absolutely free of cost). Total bill came at £32 which is very low considering food quality, amount and attention from staff. Cannot recommend enough! Definitely coming back.
