I came here for the first time about a month ago.
The starters we ate were amazing, the pizza was lovely and tasty. The cocktails had a nice kick to them and the deserts tasted soo good.
We both were very impressed.
One of the best pizza menus I have seen in London so far. Pizzas themselves are light and full of flavour. A very Italian feel to the interior and the service was attentive and friendly. Special mention for the tiramisu, it’s a must try!! Will be visiting again for sure.
I recently visited here and I must say, it was an amazing experience! The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Specially Aline. 5 star customer service.
Now, let's talk about the food! The pizza was out of this world. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. I could tell that the ingredients were of high quality and the pizza was made with care and attention to detail.
In addition to the pizza, we also tried the garlic knots and they were delicious! Soft and fluffy with just the right amount of garlic and butter.
Overall, I highly recommend this Italian pizza shop. If you're looking for authentic and delicious pizza, this is the place to go. The atmosphere and service were also top-notch, making for an unforgettable dining experience.
SECRET ITALIAN TERRACE 🇮🇹
📍London, Portobello Road
⭐️ 4/5
💸 ££
🍴Saturdays in Notting Hill and Portobello Road are my favourite thing ever but it gets so crowded! I'm gonna tell you where to find the perfect oasis for a delicious lunch 😋 It's @cinquecentopizzeria and their secret cute terrace located exactly in Portobello Road 🌱 My friend and I went for our fav drink ever: passion fruit Spritz 🍹 As starter, we went for the HUGE #Burrata and Avocado salad with parmesan, unfiltered olive oil and balsamic glaze. As main, we also shared the delicious Tartufo e Salsiccia #pizza, with Italian sausage, mushroom, mozzarella, and black truffle 🤤
Hands down the best of the bestest pizza parlours in London!
I have had my fair share of pizzas around London, honestly I didn't like any of them until now. This place has the best pizza, and plus best pizza by stone oven.
The first time I came around the area, I passed by and smelt really good pizza from the outside. The second time, I actually went in. This has the most Italian pizza in London!
I especially loved the Burrata pizzas, and even the Burrata salad. The appetizers are also good to try.
You want a gluten-free, dairy-free pizza that doesn’t taste like a gluten-free, dairy-free pizza? Come on ova’. Really good base, high quality sausage and an exceptionally tasty tomato sauce. (Sorry for the picture. We got too excited and had to chow down. People gotta eat first, phones second y’know)
The pizza here was the best i've ever had! Service was great. I watched the guy make the pizzas. so cool! Maybe a little bit of a cleaner kitchen would be good, but overall it was an amazing meal!
Where should I start from? Firstly, and most importantly, the customer service was excellent. The waitress was welcoming and helped us choose dessert with her recommendations. The tiramisu was rich and almost as good as my mothers. The pizzas were cooked to perfection composed by quality ingredients. I will definitely be attending again soon:) In general the staff was candid!
The food in this place is out of this world. The quality is fenomenal and the portions are great. The restaurant manager Theo is super nice and made the experience 10 times better than it already was.
Nothing more to say then a 5 star experience. We were not even hungry but saw the pizza while walking by. Had only a Margherita but I think every other Pizza is a highlight too.
100% recommended
I celebrated my birthday with a group of 18 friends and had an amazing dinner. Natascia managed the organisation and helped choose the dishes and quantities, she was extremely professional and attentive to every detail of the evening. I really appreciated the dedication to her work and how much she helped me plan everything! I felt really confident that we were going to have a good time and it was indeed the case. The service was impeccable, and the food was incredible. I absolutely recommend celebrating special occasions at Cinquecento Portobello!
It's not often that pizza can surprise you, but this little place served genuinely incredibly pizza - great, chewy and absurdly delicious! The bruschetta was incredibly too. We'll be back!
One of the best pizza spots in London!
The dough is a top-notch, best ever tasted.
Ordered Burrata, Margherita, Tartufata.
Burrata is from another world, a must for a first time visitor.
Margherita is great but there is area for improvement.
The staff were helpful, welcoming.
The chef Alessandro is a top level, passionate about making a true Neapolitan pizza from his oven in London!
The best pizza in London. Great atmosphere and staff are lovely.
Pizzas and tiramisu were very nice. Also nice interior in their upstairs seating. However the main restaurant entrance gets very crowded due to takeaway and delivery orders and sitting next to entrance isn’t a good idea.
Had a different experience than some of those 1 stars
Eye contact was made and we were greeted and seated
We did arrive closer to closing time, and they informed us of this.
We decided to stay and eat and the service was great.
Music was not too loud and was Italian music.
The pizza was the best I’ve ever had. That might not mean much coming from an American though. But I would definitely recommend this place and come here again.
Thank You!
Very good Neapolitan pizza, price are really good for quality and London. Staff was extra nice and relocated us to a better seating once it was available (even when we already had ordered and settled). Will come back!
A beautiful and delicious resturant to dine in, the staff are super friendly and polite and the interior design should be praised heavily.
They have a large selection of authentic italian dishes and from the ones I tried beat my expectations and tasted delicious.
