Great Beer and great Beer Garden. There are even 2 pool tables and 2 ping pong tables !!! Amazing burgers at a very good price! 😋 We've just had the Vegetarian Hallumi and Avocado one and also the Beef one, very yummy !! 😊

The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and professional whether you are meeting friend's and need a bite to eat or just socialising it's the place to be. They have large tv's for the footie a great pool table and full size table tennis in the rear garden, all under cover when our British weather isn't the best.
Great to see a proper local pub making a go at it. Good beer, friendly staff and the food menu is extraordinary value for money.

This is less of a review than a comment for the review from Lisa Hitman. The kitchen hasn't been open for over a year so not sure how you managed to get food. Over charge on drinks? Well it is a bit more expensive than a Wetherspoons but independant pubs do tend to be as they haven't got their own brewery so have to fork out extra for stock. As for racists in the pub, no one has control over others opinions but we all have control on who we choose to speak with. One last point to make, this pub makes sure it has no vermin problem by employing two very good mousers named Scary and Suggsy who are always looking for a scratch behind the ear as payment. A great traditional British pub with a friendly community feel, a great pint and fabulous food. I would highly recommend to any person who is looking for an amazing night out.

Nice beer garden on a sunny day-just blank out the M1 traffic noise! Right next to Hendon Thameslink, so good for a swift one on the way home.
