Stayed here recently. The staff team were super friendly. The room was clean and nicely decorated. They provide water which was filtered and filled on the premises which was great for our attempts at being more environmentally responsible. They were happy to refill our Chilly water bottles several times a day.

The food at this pub is most excellent. You get exactly what it say on the menu and it is just as tasty as you would have hoped. Kind and friendly staff with a good selection of beers. Highly recommended.

This place was truly epic. From the location (perched beautifully next to the Thames), to the atmosphere, everything was a winner. The highlight though, was definitely the food. We wanted two of every dish, each unfussy but unique and perfectly executed. We genuinely, genuinely loved it.

Tried two pubs in the locality attempting to find some food and real ale, fortunately We ended up at this lovely pub The owner was very friendly and helpful.I went for athe suggested Halloween special burger and garlic chips, awesome ,it took hamburger and chips to the next level ,. My wife had smoked haddock ,chunky chips and pureed peas, ,with a really good pint of London Pride and a excellent Recommendation for a Portuguese red wine ,we were in food heaven Thanks but please come back to Solihull!

Sunday menu is great, the beer battered Scottish smoked haddock was outstanding, amazing. This is a very pleasant discovery. Definitely one of the best places to eat on Isle of Dogs. They also have great frozen margarita. The service is very good 👍

We were tempted in by the delicious smell. We both had the jerk chicken which is milder than usual but still full of spice and flavour, with a side of chips that were perfectly cooked and seasoned (often missed by fancier pubs) and lovely olives and padron peppers. The wine list was great and very affordably priced - it was hard to choose from the selection of wines but I don't think you can go wrong either. I really enjoyed my wine and hopefully can try some others another time. We almost got dessert cause the list was very tempting but we were quite full

A lovely pub on the quiet side of Greenwich away from tourists and crowds. Friendly staff, fairly priced, great looking menu too! Definitely worth a visit.

Had an incredible stay. The food was really high standard, I had a confit pork katsu burger and my partner had Barnsley lamb chop. Followed by homemade honey and thyme ice cream. Wine great picks too!

Been there only once..... a good review so far. May need to have a few more drinks before I can justify a proper in-depth review. Standby on this caller....

Nothing really to fault with the accommodation, comfortable room, good location. However food left a lot to be desired. Having ordered the chicken Caesar salad I had great difficulty finding any chicken. I checked the menu to make sure that’s what it said, I then asked the waitress where the chicken was and she pointed to the smallest bit of chicken after which I noticed a few other bits well hidden. To me chicken would mean a breast. So to be charged £12-£13 for what was essentially a plate full of lettuce was disappointing to say the least. Wish I had taken a photo 😳 Also ordered a burger for similar cost to be asked do you want fries or chips and then be charged an additional £4 but our fault for not checking I guess. Would stay here again but certainly wouldn’t eat here again.

We popped in for lunch at noon on Saturday and had delicious food and great service. The homemade orange marmalade and poppy seed ice cream was particularly good. This pub seems to be popular with dog walkers - we met five exceptionally lovely and well behaved dogs during our visit!

Nice pub, pet friendly, very nice atmosphere and friendly staff, friendly patrons, also found vegetarian dishes (had the sweet potato cauliflower curry, which was ok, unfortunately was not spicy, but very flavourful). Really good selection of wines. Nice to have a chat if you go in the afternoon , but lively atmosphere in the evening. Saturday evening there's live music and the atmosphere was very nice. Good to reserve, especially if on a busy evening, like this one.

Lovely place - cosy candlelit ambience, friendly and welcoming staff, and they serve the best pub roast I've had in ages! The food here is fantastic . Great flavours , all super freshly made and nothing too much trouble for the staff. We tried a wide range of dishes including Roast beef, fresh Cod fish and Caesar Salad with Chicken.

Perfect if you fancy escaping the growds around the Cutty Sark and Greenwich, just a short walk through the Greenwich foot tunnel. With a nice little hidden garden, it was perfect for us to have a quick drink.

A really nice place. The room was comfortable and the shower was fantastic. The bed was a little too hard for my personal preference, but my wife thought it was fine.

Only stayed for the one night but a great night was had. There was a private function, which created a real party atmosphere about the pub. Made some new friends and was warmly welcomed by the manager and her staff. And finished the night in a lovely room, well-appointed, large en suite and the most comfortable, cosy bed! Only down side was they don't do breakfast but hey...otherwise a good stay.
