Very nice Chinese restaurant, nice decor and quiet. The fried green beans were good - very spicy! The saliva chicken and prawn cheung fun were also very good. The beef hot fun was fried well, but could have done with a bit more seasoning. The xiaolongbao pastry wasn’t so great, but the filling was very porky!

Ordered beef hor fen for lunch, it’s tasted very good. I would give this dish 5 stars. Husband ordered beef brisket with rice, tasted good too. But the dish didn’t come with some vege together with the meat, I will give the beef brisket a 4 stars. We also ordered a pork Sui Mai, see whether the dim sum is delicious, but unfortunately the Sui Mai taste bad, I don’t think it has standard. We sat at the group floor where the available seats are not much ( around 5 tables with 4 person seats). The restaurant has small area set for selling some groceries. Service is good, the order came pretty fast. The order will be delivered from upper to the ground floor through a small lift. We compare to the lunch menu and dinner menu, thought lunch menu is better.

This is a small restaurant but truly had the best service compared to all other restaurants (including many Michelin ones) that I have been to in the past 8 years in London. Can’t speak highly enough of how polite the manager (Abir) is, who seemed to be the only non-Chinese running the restaurant. His calm demeanour, willingness to recommend the best dishes, and provide unsolicited honest opinions about portion sizes, variations possible etc. was commendable. He even personally came back to apologise for one wrong soup delivered (even though we did realise when it was served but did not fuss about it since we were happy to have it anyway) and waived the price of it, as well as the price of another dish and service charge on account of his self-admitted mistake (despite us insisting that we were happy with the soup anyway and he should at least charge us the price of the other dish) . I mean, come on, you really don’t see this kind of amazing gesture, and this dwarfs the professional but commercial service you typically receive in high-end restaurants. This place felt so humane. Coming to food, it’s top-notch. Pepper Sichuan lamb with cumin was brilliant, and so was the Ma La chicken. We paired those with two types of fried rice (none of the rices were oily, which was great!). And we also had their salt and pepper squid which was great too. The place is a bit tucked in a corner may be and not around any touristy place as far as I could tell. We happened to have just bumped into the place because we went to Ma La located in St. James Park (one of our Sichuan favourites in London) and found it closed for Sunday lunch. So Fei Cottage ended up as a google suggestion around the corner and we are so happy we went there. This is surely a hidden gem, and we will return. SD

Food was quick to arrive and pretty great. Service was good. Soju was a bit overpriced (£12) but I have seen worse elsewhere. I recommend the vegetable fried noodles, crispy squid, and egg fried rice. Basement could use better ventilation. Prices were good for this area of London. I would go back.

Egg meat? ham? bun was crispy outside, and very soft inside. Beef ho fun tasted great. It was perfect for Korean, my :) taste. During my visit to London, I went to four different chinese restaurants, and the food taste here was best for me.

Authentic Chinese food. Very good service and reasonable prices. The meal is enough big to be shared between two. Watch out! Some seats are not fitted for tall people. ;)

The staff is a bit unorganized but makes up for it with friendliness. The food is very delicious. The Dim Sum are top notch and the Garlic Pak Choi is very tasty.

Great service, food was decent, tastes great, might need a bit of garnish. My curry brisket rice came with just that, was expecting a little bit of greens or veggie. My siew mai or pork dumplings came 'naked' without the usual touch of pink, either garnished with fish roe or goji berry which is standard in other places.

Ordered two Murgers for takeout.. It was delicious! The flavor of the meat is very aromatic and deep, it's a perfect compliment for the bread.

Lovely comfortable, large restaurant down stairs with more seating available on ground level. You can order takeaway or dine in. Service is prompt and prices are reasonable. The chicken in sweet and sour chicken was slightly firm. But my partner felt it was nice. I usually expect battered chicken, whereas this was less the excessive batter and more chicken - which was a pleasant surprise. Staff are very friendly and helpful. You will find customer at table cooking facilities for the dishes where you may wish to cook your own meat.

Came here for my birthday and am SO happy I did. I've been to a few places for bottomless dim sum, and I get so stressed out by how they give you a short time limit, bring the food slowly, don't want you to order too much and want you out quickly. I was sat upstairs, where it's very cosy and homely, with a nice little shop and supermarket in the back with Asian snacks, ingredients, drinks and more. I can't understate how amazingly nice the manager Abir is! He knew me by my reservation, checked on me when I looked confused by the menu and really made me feel like I was a guest at someone's home. I think he saw me eating quickly because I was stressed by the time limit, and reassured me I had plenty of time (2 hours) to eat what I wanted. This is so different to other places where they just want you in and out as quickly as possible. The food was also amazing! The fried dumplings are easily the best I've ever had in London, and the steamed dim sum was gorgeous, too. The food came out quickly, was hot, delicious. Wow, I love everything about this place, what a gem! It's so nice to visit a place where the staff actually care about the place they're working, the customers and giving a genuinely great experience. Cannot recommend this place enough, will definitely be back as a regular!

We went here for a dim sum buffet. Very good value for the price but please read for more info. Firstly, the waiters were very friendly - I am certain that they are not trained by management, but they do their best and are very positive. I think there should be another way to take orders (electronically maybe) for the buffets that this restaurant should install. The venue looks nice and unique but could use some investment as it seems old, dusty with furniture that has been probably used for years. Although the dim sum is home made, we would not really recommend it. It tastes great but they put way too much MSG and probably other chemicals/preservatives - we felt almost drunk after eating! This is the biggest reason we might not come back here as even the day after, we feel as we have a hangover and have to keep drinking water. Quite an unsettling aftermath.

Good value meals & yet decent quality. A bit salty for fried rice & noodle dishes. Otherwise tasted absolutely fine. Dumplings were fairly good. Services had been good. A bit stuffy as located at basement.

Came here for the unlimited dim sum for £25. The dim sum was plentiful and tasty and had no issues with what was brought out. I do think they use the dim sum in the freezer in the shop upstairs but nevertheless it was very tasty and was value for money.

Best bottomless/unlimited dim sum restaurant in London I just wanted to shout out to Abir, who was serving us and rest of other customers, his customer service skills are top notch and unrivalled in majority of London restaurants. When we arrived, he warmly welcomed us and asked us if we would like to sit upstairs or downstairs. We chosen downstairs as the upstairs flet cosy and narrow, everywhere was clean and we were the only ones sitting downstairs for up to 20mins until other customers arrived for sitting. Booking is recommended as it could get busy, we however made a booking but fortunately it was not busy due to heavy rain on a Tuesday afternoon and evening. Abir carefully explained how the bottomless dim sum works. It is technically not bottomless or unlimited. You pay £23.50 per person (adult) for dim sum, which you can choose what types of dim sum you would like to eat. They come in 2 rounds, on the 1st serving, they bring the choice of your dim sum, and on the 2nd you choose another choice. After that you have to pay for your dim sums. The £23.50 covers 2 rounds. Some choice of dim sum have a "supplimentary" charge that ranges from £1 to £2. Drinks ranges from £2.50 to £3.20, and I would advise you to pick drinks with 500ml, though it cost more it is worth it; rather than spending £2.40 on a 330ml can of coke/Fanta. Dim sum were delicious as expected to be, they were steaming hot. Sauces were provided, and they can also refill the sauces when they are low. There are enough seatings available. For wheelchair users, they would not be able to be accommodated because it will be hard for them to enter as there's no ramp. Lots of wonderful decor, ceiling made of bamboo sticks, lots of ancient Chinese wallpapers and arts, bone China and statues. I really love the asthestic of these restaurant because it feels like an authentic Chinese restaurant like I'm in China. Problem was they didn't have few of the drinks available which was annoying as it forces you to buy alternative drinks. No music was playing, they have speakers on the ceiling but no Chinese music was playing. Apart from that, I see nothing bad here, customer service of Abir makes you want to come back again. If he leaves this restaurant, I don't know how this restaurant would fair. Aside from the restaurant, they also have a mini store inside where you can buy snacks and food and noodles. Slightly expensive, but I bet it is convenient for people who lives around Westminster/St James Park area. Service charge is charged to your bill as £5, bottomless dim sum is expensive but worth it as you will be full up. Food wastage is £5, so don't waste food, order what you can eat! Also I wanted to point out another top customer service act, when Abir brought us our drinks with straws, he held the straws with napkin. This kind of attitude is what I would expect in a 5 star Michelin kind of restaurant, he did not hold onto our straw with his bare hands. Menu is also clean and sleek looking, there is also some plug points for the hot pot, but you can take advantage of them and charge your phone.

We've been recently to Fei Er Cottage with a recommendation from friends on Sunday to have a lovely AYCE dim sum dinner and the waiter - Abir, he is a star, real welcome us with such a great customer service. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. One of the best Chinese restaurant in London. We.will be back to try the Asian BBQ and Hotspot soon. Thank you Fei Er and Thanks to Abir, we will come to see you again. 👍👍
