I ordered the tsukemen since this wasn't a common offering in ramen joints in London. The noodles were delightfully chewy and the chicken chashu was soft and tender. The dipping sauce had a deep flavour with a tinge of spice, though the thing with tsukemen is you can adjust the amount of sauce to your liking.

I ordered from the classic ramen menu thinking it would have the classic tonkotsu broth, however they only had chicken broth, which I was quite surprised about 👀. Either way I went for tantanmen but with chicken broth, as I was craving a good hot ramen. The taste was okay, not same as the classic tonkotsu, pork broth, but it still tasted okay. I had to order extra chilli sauce to make it less sweet (this was 1 pound btw). Also the pork mince was too little and they give an whole egg. Overall, I probably won't go here for Ramen again as I have tasted way better in places such Shoryu and Tonkotsu. Perhaps other things on the menu are great, but cannot comment on that.

I had the ten ten man ramen which was delicious, others on my table had the spicy chicken ramen which apparently wasn't spicy at all, depends if you can handle your heat I guess! Great all around, really relaxed environment and a good portion. Was really quiet at lunch time on a Sunday.

Good food with reasonable price. Portion was considered large. Good value for money. Service staff was very friendly and attentive. We had curry, fried octopus, and cheese mochi potatoes, which were all tasty.

Love this hidden gem Japanese ramen restaurant just behind finsbury park station. I ordered a spicy tenmaru ramen, it was tasty and delicious, the price reasonable too. It was very quick service as i came just when the open at lunch hour. I will be back again soon.

Only one word can describe the experience obtained at Tenmaru- Delectable. Where to start? The ramen was amazing close to beating all others. The broth and noodles were rich; yet not too indulging. And the marinated egg was heavenly, the staff were amazing and the atmosphere only added to our positive critiques. We will 100% be coming back here with friends! As for pricing, we were able to have a lunch for 2 at around £40+, which is on the pricier side of restaurants; don’t let this keep you away, it’s still an amazing experience.

Great place for Ramen! Staff friendly and efficient. Food very tasty. You can’t book tables so need to get in early or prepare to wait. Was packed on a Wednesday evening. Definitely would still recommend trying it out

One of the best ramen I have had in London! Ordered the spicy broth this time and really like the flavour, but if you’re looking for a light and soothing broth, the original chicken soup would be the best option! My friend ordered the dan-dan noodles, but would still recommend the ramen with soup base :) For side dishes, the fried squid is really crispy, yum!

Went for dinner on a Sunday evening and got a table right away. I went for the Mazesoba and it was so delicious. The portion was bigger than I expected and good price too.

First time ever testing the real ramen: amazing. We been here for lunch on Saturday without booking and we found space, service are quickly and professional, staff so polite and the food is excellent. We took the traditional beef tenmaru and the spicy chicken and beef gyoza as a starter and everything was so tasty. The broud was amazing can't wait to go back and taste something else.

The food is beautiful! 🍜🥟The Tenmaru tori paitan will melt you! (similar to tonkotsu ramen but made with poultry not pork) The kimchi is so vibrant and still perfectly crunchy 🍗 The chicken wings are succulent and the noodles they use are just exactly what you want with ramen. The only reason I couldn’t give 5* is the delivery/takeaway containers can’t quite handle the abusive nature of Deliveroo/Just Eat - our ramen arrived mostly in the plastic bag which was incredibly off putting. I look forward to coming to the restaurant itself.

I've been here about half a dozen times now and it's just great. Best ramen in the area by far and one of the best in London for sure, and everyone I've been here with agrees. Would recommend the Tenmaru Spicy and the Karasge. The Mazesoba and Tan Tan Men are also pretty great. The Yuzu sour is a favourite among friends too. Great accessible toilets.

Went once so far and looking to return to try their ramen! So will update. Staff were limited when I visited but kept on their feet with an air of friendliness. My all time favourite is karaage so whenever I go to any restaurant serving it I have a tendency towards it and they were delicious! Love it when it’s well marinated and flavoured with skin on! I also really enjoyed the plum cucumbers and beef croquettes (which were somewhat nice and juicy, though taste wise I think I still miss the ones from Japan Centre in Piccadilly). Another place I recommend and will return to!

Probably my current favourite Ramen place in London (and I’ve tried all of them 😌). Service can be slow but it’s a fresh change to have a ramen with clear, subtle yet scrumptious chicken based stock that goes well with the thin, al dente ramen in london (where most ramen are Tonkotsu based 😊). Would definitely return to try other flavours 😍

As a Japanese, I would acknowledge that this is the best ramen restaurant in the UK🍜 Quality of ramen depends on two factors; noodle and broth. TENMARU serves thin noodle which texture is like authentic Japanese noodle unlike most of other ramen shops. Secondly, their broth doesn’t taste like a ordinal broth widely served in the UK, which you can make easily at home from pre-mixed sauce bottle, like Tonkotsu ramen’s broth. Their signature is toripaitan which is a clear chicken broth ramen with chicken chashu. Taste reasonably reminds me of toripaitan ramen that I loved in Japan. It’s also worth to mention that their tan-tan-men taste fabulous, too. I strongly recommend this ramen restaurant for those ramen lovers in the UK!!!

Well, I'm torn this time. I would give it just one star so the place doesn't become too popular but that would be mean. So why 5 starts? Service was on point, food was really good, I mean, its ramen and if you don't like soups your probably won't like it, but if you do, then go there and you won't be disappointed. Value for money was excellent, we got the edamame and another starter (besides the ramen) and we paid 20£ x person, which for London is really good. So yeah, don't go please so we locals can go without queuing.

Great food at an astounding price. Nice small restaurant which serves excellent cuisine signature of authentic japanese dishes. Wait time was a bit long but other than that we had a really pleasant dining experience. Definitely recommend.
