A hit and miss experience. The main thing is that the food is excellent and the cocktails are sublime. Service and atmosphere however are lacking. First, the good. Cocktails We started with an orange Negroni and spicy pineapple margaritas (all delicious), and they have a whole section dedicated for Negronis. Food We shared dishes between three people, and started with the stuffed olives with sheep's milk labneh (perfect accompaniment with the Negroni), gorgonzola & sopressa dumplings (so good), and the burrata with tomatoes. Secondi highlights were the vegan gnocchi with asparagus and nut free pesto, definitely a must! The pappardelle with slow braided short rib was also delicious, but the Tartufata truffle pizza was excellent, subtle truffle flavour, thin base and cheesy. We had a side of the green leaf salad. We finished with the Torta Settevelli, which would have been better if served warmer, and the Tiramisu which was average. Not Good Wine The wine was not good at all. The Nero D'Avola was watery and bitter. Service Our first server was excellent and attentive, but then it fizzled out. We ended up being there for well over 3 hours, and I had to wait over 20 minutes for a glass of wine. Considering there were only 3 other people, it was hardly busy. Atmosphere As it's a hotel restaurant, you have a mix of rude guests talking loudly on their phone and a kid running around, and it doesn't have a buzzy atmosphere. The food alone makes up for the faults, so id definitely recommend for good food and cocktails.

The truffle mushroom pasta was good, the starter was ok. The pear and ricotta desert was not very tasty. Nice ambience any good service. Nice and quiet so you can have a conversation. Hardly any vegan options for my friend but they made a vegan risotto which she enjoyed.

I went for a friend’s birthday and I loved the atmosphere as soon as I entered. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the food was superb and excellent value for a place that looks like it’s going to be really expensive. I loved that you can choose which size dish to have. I did have the small crab linguine because I’d had a starter but it was so delicious I wish I’d gone for the large. Desserts are amazing too. I’ll definitely be dining here again soon.

Excellent restaurant! Great service, tasty food and great atmosphere. I like it's not too loud and good for a chat. Very pretty. We shared 3 deserts and couldn't pick a fav, all were amazing!

Came for afternoon tea which was delicious and fairly priced for what you get. Staff were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was relaxed.

A lovely restaurant and bar. Nice touch of hospitality welcoming from the moment we arrived to the door and throughout our meal on Friday evening. The food was delicious and so were the cocktails. Great bar yet very trendy atmosphere. Burrata, Pappardelle and Tiramisu were the highlights. Thank you and We will be back soon.

Came here for a pre theatre meal with my grandma. The set menu is good value for money, and the staff tried really hard to look after us. I get the impression they’re new and the service could do with a bit of fine tuning - but on the whole very good

An incredible restaurant with sublime dishes packed with flavor and impressive technical execution! My 3 course dinner felt like a passionate courtship: enticed by the grilled prawns, blown away by the crab tortellini, nurtured by the grilled hake. Companion had the pappardelle and capricciosa pizza which were superb too. Neither of us are actually big fans of Italian cuisine, BUT by the end of this dinner I was ready to propose to Italy for marriage and kiss the chef. Thank you for reminding us the magic of Italian cuisine! Will certainly return with friends!

Very formal, hotel lobby restaurant with delicious pasta dishes. We used a first table booking as their first tables are quite late at 7:15 PM and means we had a 50% off all food deal. The food was a mixed bag as the crab linguini was absolutely stunning - but the burrata was quite bland and not garnished in a way that flaunts it's strengths. Service was impeccable! I imagine it's a nice place for a date or big group brunch. That said there are no windows in the restaurant (because it's inside a hotel) but they do make up for this with really upmarket decor.

I had lunch with my daughter at Sycamore. After spending half a day at the LSE, we were tired and just randomly walked into this gem of a restaurant. Service was top notch, food was authentic and ambience was great. Our server, miss Marcella was super kind and totally spoiled us. We stayed longer than we intended to, prolonging lunch into a longer stay and ordered desserts and coffee and lovely chat with Marcella, who despite being busy, was catering to all the guests with so much attention. Lived our time spent here. We will definitely be back.

Wow. Just wow. Everything was perfect. The service, the food, the flavours. From the starters to the main courses to the dessert - everything was surprising, tasty and just spot-on. Could not recommend enough. Would have rated it 6 stars if I could.

We enjoyed a lovely meal here on a weekday evening dining from the cichetti menu. The service from Julian(?) was lovely. He's very personable and friendly, which made our meal all the more enjoyable. The food was lovely - everything we ordered. My only suggestion would be that they offer the main menu in addition to the cichetti menu, just in case an individual wants to order an item off there.

Had the 50% off menu, decor is beautiful and food lovely, comes out very fast and staff are attentive. Did the "total" one of each menu, could finish everything between 3 women 👍 not sure I would pay full price though! Cocktauls very nice, never seen so many negroni variations.

Brand new hotel bar/restaurants in Holborn! I went and tried the bar cocktails and nibbles, thanks to Hot Dinners 50% off:) the cocktails are specialized in Negronis, Bellinis and spritz and boy were they good! The nibbles were nice, wasn’t fan of the melon prosciutto but absolutely loved the bruschetta and Aglio e Olio pizza. A great afterwork drinks place, and the bartenders were lovely! A tad bit pricey for me if I didn’t have the 50% off offer, but still a great fancy place to go to if you can afford it!

Pre-theatre meal with friends. Told staff we would be pushed for time. Couldn't have been more helpful. Amazing pre-theatre menu , arancini was amazing as was the salmon that followed. Will be going back. The bar looked a great place to meet as well. I forgot to mention the fries! Perfect. Thank you
