Inventive, delicious food. Sauces to die for and all served up on an unfamiliar but perfect plate. One of the best new openings I have been to in an age. Can’t recommend it enough.

Creative African dishes but unfortunately not my taste as it doesn’t compare to authentic African food and lost too much of the African tastes. Objectively speaking the food was still yummy but deviated a bit too much and flavours a bit lacking compared to authentic cuisine eg. The egusi. The Guinea fowl was the best out of the whole menu. Plantain was not well cooked for this price point. Service and atmosphere was lovely.

Amazing food - please try the Egusi!! Everyone is extremely nice and friendly, perfect dinner for us, 10/10! I should say that my boyfriend is Nigerian and he loved this modern vision of the typical West African dishes. The menu changes every 6 weeks or so, so we’ll be back soon :)

first time trying west african cuisine, and we were absolutely blown away - what an explosive combination of flavours! we had the pollock and napa cabbage for mains, both delicious, as were all the starters and the dessert. really liked the ambience too. service was a mixed bag instead, from extremely welcoming and friendly, to rather cold and obnoxious.

We spent our anniversary here and had the most lovely experience. The service was impeccable and the staff made us feel so special, even giving us a card. The food was amazing and everything lived up to our expectations! Will definitely be coming back again.

Excellent Pepper soup. Surprisingly the cabbage (egusi) reigns supreme among the mains despite strong competition from the (nsala)guineafowl and (mbongo) hake. Great music, especially that #banger Last Last from Burna Boy!! Haha xD

Really delicious food, a modern interpretation of West African cuisine but felt like it kept to its roots. Nice levels of spicing balanced with some clever use of acidity. Staff were all really friendly and knowledgeable. A great new addition to London!

Fantastic food, went for lunch and really enjoyed everything that came out of the kitchen. The guinea fowl was seasoned and cooked perfectly! Already thinking about when to go again

I suppose you worry that West African food might be unapproachable if you are not familiar with it. Not at all though. Every course was fantastic. I liked the set menu format as it gave the delightful Joké the opportunity to showcase her best seasonal dishes. And the cocktails were excellent, particularly the Spiced Okra Martini. I can't wait to go back.

We visited recently and had a wonderful experience. Sorry I don’t have any pictures, but will take on my next return very soon. This is how a restaurant should upgrade - other restaurants should take note! Firstly the restaurant is small, but beautiful with upstairs and downstairs consisting of warm neutral tones and you can see every detail has been considered from lighting to chairs and crockery giving a classy west African vibe. The staff were very attentive and gave excellent customer service and last but not least we enjoyed every course. It was truly delicious and again elevated from Brixton days which was also delicious. I cannot fault this place and look forward to returning very soon. Well done!

We had a great time! The corn bites with scotch bonnet sauce was a highlight for me. We really enjoyed the savoury dishes but weren't completely sold on the dessert. All in all though the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and we really enjoyed the meal

We had the lunch menu and it was so lovely, There were two starters, you get both, then a choice of two main courses, we had one of each, and one dessert. They were all amazing, I can't wait to go again. I believe the menu changes regularly so can't wait to try what else they have. I had the veggie option, the flavours were complex and a nice heat level. And to top it off they main a plain rice ball for my little son to eat, I am pretty sure it was his favourite thing ever.

Loved it! Amazing flavours, and a top quality left-of-field wine list too. One of my new favourite restaurants. Will be booking to go back.

I'm new to West African cuisine and this was a really great experience! The set menu is £48 for 5 dishes which I thought was reasonable given the food portions. My favourites were the corn bites with scotch bonnet sauce, the hand dived scallop, the cornish hake and the chicken thigh. All the dishes had a different flavour and good spice kick too. The hibiscus sour was tasty, although on the smaller side. Staff had good chat and were helpful!

I’d give this place six stars if google would allow it! Interesting food, nice vibe and friendly service. Great new addition to Fitzrovia-Marylebone scene, fixed price lunch especially good, will be back to try the evening menu soon.

Incredible meal, and on their last night at this location, too. Can't wait to come back after they re-open in their new spot. They deserve a nicer spot for this incredible food!
