The hospitality here was excellent. Very friendly and professional. But of course we mainly go to a restaurant for the food. On the whole we were pleased with our orders. My wife wasn't so keen on her dish of choice but you can't blame the restaurant for that. I very much enjoyed my dish. The only criticism I would have, and the rest, was that the food could have been more spicy. I would go back however.

I have been 2 times in this place in a space of less than a week, and would come again! There is a mixture of Indian and Nepalese dishes. Prices are reasonable. The house white wine is very nice and refreshing. Our clean plates for mains were served hot - very professional and nice touch, keeping the food that was arriving, warm. It is annoying when plates arrive ice cold, so well done for serving plates hot! We had chicken momos (Nepalese chicken dumpling, there are 5 of them in the portion), poppadums with sauces, lamb byriani (served with yogurt), lamb sheesh kebab (3 pieces in the portion) - all dishes are really yummy. For dessert we had kulfi (Indian ice cream, was probably the weakest point on the menu, not impressed, have had much nicer kulfis in other places - this must be improved!) and warm walnut brownie, served with cream (reasonable, but pretty basic). So deserts can be improved a little, but the rest of the food is fantastic. Glad to have a very good quality restaurant in Crystal Palace! I do recommend it highly. The stuff are a couple of humble and polite guys, very attentive. Thank you! P.s. takeaway service available, they deliver within 3 miles radius.

The food at Timur is out of this world. I came here with my girlfriend 2 weeks ago, she brought her mum this time... and we'll be back again soon! Incredible experience both times! The vegan options are delicious and my non-vegan girlfriend also can't stop raving about how good the food is here. Honestly you HAVE to try this place. Extra points for the staff being so polite at all times.

We had a family and friends event at the restaurant for approximately 40 people and the experience from start to finish, was excellent. The team at Timur, especially Bibek, made everything very easy. They were very responsive and we agreed a set menu with transparent pricing with no fuss. On the day, everything ran smoothly, service was excellent leading many guests to comment positively. Most importantly the food was delicious and plentiful. We felt very well looked after and overall it was a stress free experience. Highly recommended

If you are looking for Indian cuisine in Crystal palace then try this place out. Although the menu is quite small, there's a good range of different dishes, including vegetarian and everything I have tried here has always been very good. The service is excellent with short wait times for the food to be brought to your table. Also it is very reasonably priced.

Absolutely phenomenal. Best samosas in South London by far. Service is exceptional, the staff is very friendly and kind. The food is delicious and very well presented too. This restaurant is a worthy competition to the most famous and expensive restaurants in London. Nice Masala chai and amazing atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back!

Visiting London from the US and looking for Indian/Pakistani food, this place was a gem. The chicken and lamb was so well tender. Last time I had food like that was in Delhi and Karachi. The staff was great. This is a family owned business and so happy we found this place. I can’t wait to come back and visit Timur again.

I would give 5 stars but alcohol is priced on the menu and you are charged higher on the bill. Food is excellent and staff are very attentive. Fantastic vegan and vegetarian options

You gotta eat here! This place is fantastic! Great service, charming atmosphere & exceptional cuisine. We ordered 4-5 dishes, each one had incredible flavour, perfect amount of heat & spice, and beautiful presentation. I would travel from Canada again, just to eat here!

A perfect new restaurant on the triangle. A beautiful interior with stunning lighting. The food was delicious, with a wonderfully varied menu. An explosion of flavours in my mouth. The waiter was a darling and met my every need with a smile on his face (behind the mask). Cannot wait to return. Thank you Timur and all those involved.

I ate here on their opening night a few years back and it was fab and my 5* review reflected that. But definitely is not the same standard last night as then, and we both felt the food was not quite deserving of 4 stars. The poppadoms were distinctly chewy, rather than the super crisp melt-in-your-mouth delight they should be. I sent them back twice and on the third attempt they were improved but still a tad chewy. The naan breads were very disappointing - tasteless and chewy but I had complain fatigue by then so just ate them. The dishes on the other hand were tasty and the Lamb piro had a nice tangy sweet and sour taste. The spinach in the harabara cakes was minimal but they tasted good. I think tho they’d been cooked beforehand and reheated. Regarding the naans, we have taken for granted the wonderful freshly home made naans you used to be guaranteed when you ate at an Indian restaurant. It seems now that naans are be bought in or made well in advance. Or it might be that we arrived late at 9.30pm and the chef had gone home? But If you want to taste the real thing and see them made fresh in front of you, there’s an Iranian restaurant in Wimbledon with the naan oven in pride of place at the front of the resto. Quite a spectacle for us but I wonder if that’s typical in the Middle East? Cheap by bus and tram to get there from CP.

A little gem in Crystal Palace. Went on a weekday and it was busy. The atmosphere was nice, the service was exceptional! Really lovely people who work there, very attentive. I was blown away by their vegan menu! They have a dedicated vegan menu and the options were some of the best I seen for an Indian restaurant. We had the Momos, which were delicious but the Aloo Tikka Chat was just wow and loved that it had a kick to it as well. I was also really pleased with the portion sizes. VERY good portions. It is so hard to come by a good restaurant, with decent prices good food and decent portions and this is a win for sure.

Unreal service, food across the menu (which I have had so far) has always been superb. Mix grill is always very well made. Only reason I gave atmosphere a 4 is because I think sometimes they forgot to turn on the background music 😮‍💨😂⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Utterly delicious and original food, like no Indian food I have tasted before, we ordered all the vegetarian small plates and each one was a delight. Great service and a very peaceful and calm atmosphere.

An excellent local find. Short menu of cooked from scratch Indian and Nepalese dishes. All delicious. Even the pickles and popadums were homemade. Great service, very friendly and good to see it busy on a Sunday evening.

Visiting the area briefly at the caravan site and found this. Enticed in by the menu, popped in to book and was very welcoming. When we returned same friendly welcome and the food was amazing. The "regular " dishes which we didnt try but others dishes to choose from and did not disappoint. Definitely recommend this and may need a takeaway on our last night! Visit, try and take the advice of staff and enjoy
