Really nice waffles. We had the dipper one and the buffalo waffalo veggie style with a hash brick. The food was really tasty and well made. I’d highly recommend and make sure you book as it’s a small place and really busy. Well done and keep up the great work!

Fantastic waffles and thier gluten free! Amazing. This was totally worth the 40 min ride from central London. We came both on Saturday evening and Sunday at noon, and both times they did not have the weekend special. Also, in the evening the menu is about half the size of the morning/ noon menu, despite the menu saying items are available until close

Had a great brunch here! Staff was lovely. Quite impressed with the place, I definitely would like to come here more. I wish the menu was a bit more varied though! Ideally with some simpler options that isn’t a massive meal 😊

4.75/5* - We came recently for the first time for birthday brunch during the Festival weekend at Brockwell Park, we reserved via Open Table for two people. This unique take on the humble battered waffle, done in many different forms, is definitely worth trying. The savoury flavours of herbs and spices, accompanies well with the fried Chicken and maple syrup we had. We opted for the Club Sandwich Waffle and the small Chicken & Waffles. Delicious, moist and smooth in texture - tasted like nothing before. The space is quite concise and compact at the front where we sat. There was a really cool fish tank in the middle between both dining rooms. As it was a busy Sunday, the place was fully booked. Recommend that you book in advance. Service was pleasant and polite but not incredibly attentive. It was a birthday brunch organised by my wife but nothing was brought out to mark the occasion, compared to other places we went to that weekend, as it was super busy. So brownie points lost there. 2 mains with 2 fresh juices and a soft boiled Burford egg extra was £45. It is worth a trip here if you find yourself nearby or south of the river or looking for a non-traditional Waffle fix.

Perfect brunch spot! The restaurant manager was super helpful and able to squeeze us into Utter Waffle at short notice and we are so pleased she did. The food was fantastic - we shared two ‘regular’ mains and one desert between 2 adults and a 7 and 4 year old and it was more than enough for lunch, although I think I’d I return I’d perhaps add a side dish - mainly for FOMO as they looked delicious, vs needing to fill us up further. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely loved it. A great place for gluten free waffles. Will definitely come here again. We tried several waffles on the vegan menu. All were amazing but I particularly liked the waffle with smashed avocado.

The day has finally come to visit Utter Waffle and I'm regretting waiting so long!! Where do I start? Probably the best stuffed waffle I've ever had! I really enjoyed the whole concept with this very intriguing menu with various savoury and sweet options and a very much personalised touch - you're not just ordering simple waffle but there's a great combination of ingredients in each option! I tried the classic fried chicken waffle and it was just delicious!! I think it's also a plus a charming owner (uuuups) and an overall friendly staff :) I'll be back very soon! 🤤

I really liked this place! We came here for brunch on a Sunday and luckily had booking, it was pretty busy and there was a tiny queue with maybe 2-3 parties outside. The food came quickly and looked beautiful, the waffle wasn't the texture I expected as it was kinda firm and crunchy but that might be due to it being gluten free! It wasn't my favourite waffle I ever had, but it was good and the toppings were great, I had James, Jules and the giant peach and I thought it was a generous portion. They have a separate vegan menu but I love that the majority of dishes can just be veganised so people don't feel like missing out! This is a great place for groups, especially if someone has dietary restrictions! Would definitely come back and try some more!

I have eaten at Utter Waffle twice and both times it was delightful. We’ve sampled these dishes between us and they were all delicious to a fault and I had no criticism to make for any of them! - James, Jules and the Giant Peach (bacon, peach, honey) - The dippy eggs waffle (cheese and marmite stuffed waffles with soft boiled egg) - The Wafflin’ Chicken one (we both ordered this on our second visit as we liked the chicken dippers side so much the first time. In fact we then argued about who was going to order this before giving up and both having the same dish, which we rarely do!). Highly recommend. The hot honey is excellent. (Side note: I have never been a big fan of the traditional American chicken and waffles, I find them too sweet and it gets boring, both texturally and flavour wise to eat after a while, this version never gets boring!). - The chicken dippers side - The Waffle in PJs (I was going to decline dessert but my companion persuaded me to share this and it was so good I somehow managed to fit it in). Note: the dessert portions are a half size waffle, phew! You can choose the size of your waffle on a few of the waffles (small or regular). There is a separate vegan menu which has vegan versions of most things. Service is really friendly and not just normal friendly. It’s like they are delighted to have you at their restaurant and genuinely want to make your time there enjoyable. But not in an annoying over the top way. I can’t find another way to describe this, it was very subtle! Also it’s very dog friendly. I recommend to book ahead to make sure you get a table. Even on weekdays it seems to get very busy. Card only!

Visited Utter Waffle for the first time after seeing it on a friends social media. From the moment we walked in we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, who throughout the visit continued to be friendly and chatty. We were asked if we'd been before, when we said it was our first time they went through everything on the menu. We bother ordered a brunch waffle and they were happy not to stuff my waffle as I am not a cheese fan. Delicious doesn't cover it, they were amazing, so much so that we ordered dessert waffles to go.
