Have wanted to come here for a long time and it was worth the wait. Slightly more expensive than coffee elsewhere however cheaper than some high street franchise conglomerate names and far nicer.
Shop is modern and sleek, staff were friendly and coffee was served swiftly! Be aware not too much seating inside and seating areas can often be busy!
Coffee was delightful, chose a long black which was ~£3.80. Looking forward to going back to try other coffees from the menu.
They also offer coffee for sale online which is slightly more expensive than other competitors but worth it if you find it’s the one for you! Coffee beans can also be bought in store.
Highly recommend if you’re walking past or travelling a little way for as you’re only a 5 minute walk from the Thames (at the Victoria St. branch).
The coffee here is simply outstanding! The staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. In addition to their exceptional coffee, they also offer a variety of delectable pastries and snacks that perfectly complement your beverage.
One of the standout features of Rosslyn Coffee is its ideal location. Situated in the heart of Queen Victoria Street, it’s a convenient and accessible spot for locals and tourists alike. Whether you’re exploring the city or looking for a quick coffee break during your workday, Rosslyn Coffee is a must-visit destination. ☕️👍
Says that it is aiming for the 'attention to detail of the great Australian cafe', and achieves it through even having staff say 'espressi'. Stand inside or sit out, perhaps with the free FT available. Busy during mid-week lunch hours.
- CANT beat the aesthetics and taste of this coffee, look how pretty the takeaway cups are; you actually want to carry it around!
- the coffee tasted significantly better in quality than mainstream/chain cafes
- No seating here; stand and drink inside, or sit on the bench outside; hence the 3 stars for atmosphere
- very clean interior
- extremely attentive, pleasant, friendly staff who actually treat you like a person rather than another chore/customer in line
I got a piccolo, which is something you don’t find in every coffee shop, it’s much more specialty in my opinion. I wouldn’t get it again as it’s not my thing, I’d go for an espresso next after seeing James Hoffman’s YT Short on the caffeine content of Rosslyn’s espresso!
I also tried their brown sugar cookie which wasn’t too sweet but sweet enough to enjoy with a very bitter coffee and taste like a dessert. Definitely one the nicest cookies I’ve had!
I got their dark chocolate too, in front of the till. Not my favourite at all. Chalky, not smooth, does not melt ( you have to bite it until it eventually melts), and overall low quality. Don’t recommend that.
Stylish and cozy cafe in front of the underground station. Staff was friendly and cheerful. I had a iced latte which was nice. I will definitely try their patisseries next time.
Stopped by Rosslyn coffee on my last day in London. I had this beautiful flatwhite, it was so delicious! Even if I visited really busy hour, the atmosphere was so nice, staff was all friendly and cheerful, and best quality coffee was served. impressive! I also bought filter beans which collaborated with FT, Ethiopia. I enjoyed this at home too. Thank you Rosslyn, I will def visit again, because I couldn’t have espresso soft icecream! ciao❣️
I’m yet to try their coffee, but their espresso soft serve was excellent - a great bit of ingenuity and something to separate it from other coffee shops in London.
Popped in to grab a coffee, lovely velvety latte! Blend was delicious, we also grabbed a salted caramel ball thing at the till. I asked the lady serving me what it was and apparently it was made of dates and dried fruit, it had the texture of a flapjack but in a ball and was FULL of flavour. A very pleasant surprise - if you see one definitely try it!
I stopped here to refuel on the way towards bank. The coffee was bold enough to do justice to the Aussie flat white. They also do soft serve espresso ice cream 🥰. I was served by Maddie, who was in a great mood and told me about the origins of the coffee.
Filter coffee pour over method is definitely better than any I have tasted in London. They have limited selection of beans ( winners of competition ) a bit expensive but definitely worth it.
They sell their coffee beans as well.
Orange pie is Delicious.
The staff is friendly and knows how to prepare good coffee you can truly appreciate people with knowledge. When you wait you might as well take some time and look at the interior: Industrial style, rather minimalistic. I really like the watch stating that it’s always coffee o’clock. Definitely worth a visit.
Lovely cafe, having 3 branches in this area but only this one opens during weekend (and it’s only Saturday). Nice coffee!
There are some really decent independent coffee shops around London and Rosslyn is definitely one of them. And clearly among the better ones.
Usually quite crowded in the afternoon hours, it is worth the wait if you want to enjoy some very nice coffee. The flat white and a Cappuccino or excellent, espresso itself is a bit too much acid, it goes better with some milk.

Amazing coffee every time and great atmosphere. Loved their soft serve ice espresso cream, perfect for Summer! Great spot for a quick pop in and take away coffee.
Soft serve is great, decor is awesome, just love this coffee shop!
I had their croissant and flat white. The coffee is pretty good. It gets really crowded and I wished they had more seating option. But overall great place to grab a coffee and go!
Absolutely lovely little coffee shop! Was in the area and dropped in for a quick coffee.
What a surprise! Not many seats but most people seem to be taking away. No food was available, but that wasn't what I was there for.
The latte I had was perfect. All too often it is too hot or cold, the coffee used is of poorer quality and the foam is limp and lacklustre. How different it is here! Absolutely, one of the best coffees I have ever had.
Great blend (of which I will be taking some beans home myself), perfect heat, superb froth. Delightful!
The icing on the cake (if you can excuse the pun!) was the treat in the form of an Espresso Soft Serve. In effect a Mr Whippy blended with an expresso. Marvellous!
Next time I am walking past, I shall definitely stop. I may even change my route to "walk past"
Thank you Rosslyn!
Outstanding coffee from a super friendly team. Try the soft serve if you get a chance while it's around in the summer!
Funky classy coffee spot, just on the north side of Southwark Bridge. Coffees, chai and Mork hot chocolate, plus pastries and doughnuts. Standing room to enjoy your beverage. Friendly staff, and vibing tunes.
Lovely soft serve ice cream and coffee, with really friendly staff.
