We had other plans, but the restaurant we wanted to go to was fully booked, so we ended up here. The place looks dated and doesn’t breathe a lot of atmosphere, with its white tiled floor and bit of a messy decoration with typical Chinese lampoons and stuff. The menu also looks Asian: a shiny bi-lingual (English and Chinese) brochure with a huge amount of dishes scattered over the pages, mostly accompanied with photos. Staff is mostly friendly and the more you engage, the friendlier they become. I’m sure this place is geared towards the Chinese community: they had a Chinese comedy night in the basement the day we were there. But we were here for food and that certainly didn’t disappoint. Being well acquainted with the Asian kitchen in general, we can say that what we had was authentic and tasty! The well-seasoned dishes came with steamed rice and at a price that was quite okay. This really made us give 4 instead of 3 stars.

A good Chinese restaurant, overall. Friendly staff, very nice atmosphere, and good tasting food. We went here on a Saturday night as we wanted hot soup, and this place did not disappoint. We ordered Winter Melon soup which tasted so delicious and it was not salty at all! I highly recommend the Winter Melon soup, Chinese Broccoli and Salt & Pepper Popcorn Chicken (had a nice almost pan fried like, crispy coating that made me want more and more). The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Was a very good experience overall and would definitely come again!

So yeah it’s a place less lively but really worth trying. I walked by ChinaFeng for almost a year, just always confused if it’s closed due to the fully-covered wall, but I’ve been a Royal customer once I gave my first go. I tried that All Day Set Meal which includes 1 main dish&rice, 2 spring rolls, 1 soup, there’s no time limitation like many lunch meal deals. I went with Tofu one and that set only costed me £8.8, what a bargain! Not to say the staffs are very friendly and they just gave me half bowl of chilies after I asked some lol. Anyway, let’s try it out.

This is probably one of my favourite Chinese restaurants in London. There are quite a few asian restaurants near Aldgate and this newly opened one definitely deserve a try! The waiters and waitresses have been very polite and attentive to us. Food service is very fast and we loved the grilled sea bass pot! Food quantity is very decent and the quality is exceeding my expectations. 2 of us spent 50£ with considerable portions of the grilled sea bass, crispy duck and stir fried veggies with tea and unlimited rice😋 I lived in Sichuan for 4 years before so I know the Sichuan food standards. I’m overall very satisfied with this Sichuan restaurant and will definitely come back again!

What an unexpected surprise! I went to China Feng expecting nothing more than a standard Chinese restaurant but I was in for a surprise. This is a truly authentic Szechuan place at the most reasonable prices in London. They also seem serve some traditional Korean dishes (i.e. Samgyetang) and my Korean spouse confirmed they were true to the original flavour. Another nice touch is that they sell a small selection of healthy takes on Chinese street food, their healthy Youtiao (Chinese fried breadstick) is to die for and I think this is the only place in London with a similar offering. Lastly, I want to say that the service was impeccable and definitely the best we've ever experienced at any restaurant in London. Our orders came very quickly and the staff was super attentive and kind. Will definitely be back!!!

Fantastic, authentic food. First visit at the weekend, but will definitely go again. Every dish was absolutely spot on. Didn't try the hot pot but that looked great too. Between 3 of us we didn't manage to take a single 'foodie' photo as we just wanted to keep eating! friendly and helpful staff too. Would definitely recommend. 5 stars.

A new chinese restaurant near Christ church in Spitalfields. I had their Chicken soup and beef in chili soup, both of which were streaming hot and delicious. The restaurant is new and hence it wasn't crowded, while the support staff was young and eager. Must visit!

I really enjoyed China Feng stumbled across it late at night and the meal we had was amazing and really authentic I don't normally post images of empty plates but it smelled amazing and we just foot stuck in I highly recommend the dry schezwan chicken the flavour was exceptional. They have dish here I've never seen in other Chinese restaurants. Worth a visit if you like you Chinese food will go next time to try a hot pot.

Seem to be an authentic Sichuan restaurant, recommend the chicken skewers spicy starter and mapo tofu. Dandan noodles can be better, the mince is a bit too hard and can choke easily. Better service than the usual Chinese restaurant you'd find in London.

The King of Glory competition was held in China Feng last Saturday and I won!🤩 I have never known that China Feng has such a large venue which can hold so many people and is open for event renting!😍 It was really fun to watch the live game here! There are also all kinds of delicious dishes!! We had a chance to have hot pot 👍🏻 Highly recommend!

Great authentic restaurant. Wide selection of dishes and good taste. Portion sizes huge. Good attentive service. Decor is nicely done and trendy. Prices are a bit steep, although they had a good lunch deal menu which we didn't have as wanted prawns.
