Really enjoyed my first Ethiopian meal with a lamb casserole full of tasty spices and two types of the Injera flat bread, which is used to scoop up the food. I struggled with my technique! Friendly atmosphere so the lady who runs it gave me a spoon to make things easier.
Delicious food, friendly/relaxed atmosphere, good price. Wish I'd known about this place sooner! Will come again and recommend to friends đź‘Ť
One of the best in South London. Great food and hospitality. And very reasonably priced! Love it!
THE BEST Ethiopian food I've had in London ever. Closest I've come to an Addis- level quality. No, this place is not pretty nor does it have ambience and no it is not white-glove 5 star service BUT if you want a lip-smacking Ethiopian meal at a great price, this is the place. Divinely seasoned wi
Amazing find. Probably the best Ethiopian food I've had so far in London and very low key but don't be fooled- it's excellent! The manager/staff are lovely and make you feel right at home in an Ethiopian kitchen. It's a must try!
One of my favourite Ethiopian restaurants. Friendly staff. Lovely child-friendly, informal cafe with excellent food. The spices are perfect. We always take some home! We want you to come to the monthly Catford Food Market! And now I want you to open a branch in Worthing!
Great food to eat in or take away. Coffee to die for! Also can get Ethiopian spices so you can try and recreate the taste at home! Staff... the owner, actually, very friendly and a fount of info on the ingredients. This gem must be kept a secret! Don't tell anyone!
I've ordered ethiopian food through Uber Eat and also visited this place so many times and received one of the best service one could expect. I have been visiting St. Gabriel's for years and it has never disapointed me. The staff are extreamly welcoming and generous, always letting us bring our own beers and wines in to the restaurant, for no charge. The food is THE BEST ethiopian I have found in London and the portions are always generou
Amazing Ethopian food place. Recommend it to anyone who wants to have a lovely experience, the staff is extremely friendly and kind. The food is absolutely delicious.
I travel from E7 (East London) sometimes up to 3 times a week to eat here, it truly is they best habesha food in London. Forget going and paying double in Brixton and Steatham for stale injira and watery Shiro or going north of the river for raw potatoes and pre made injira, all other options in the
One of the best habesha restaurants I’ve ever been to. As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed with a friendly staff. Our order didn’t take that long & we truly have enjoyed our time there.
