I had the pleasure to use the Boxwallah's services for my sons first birthday party. Abhinav understood my requirements and executed it to perfection. The comms, the delivery and the food was top notch. The guests devoured the food. Thank you Abhinav and the team for making the party a success!!

Ordered two of my favourite dishes for takeaway. Amazing authentic food. The flavours took me back to India and it is hands down one of the most legit and delicious Indian food I have had in London. Would definitely recommend to try it out!

In a humble setting, this beautiful place on Level 5 of Peckham Levels was literally the best curry experience I have ever had in London! I tried the Goan prawn curry and everything about it was just perfect. It is served with a good amount of rice and some pickles on the side. It was presented in a beautiful wooden bowl which added to the character of the dish, also showing the passion that has been put into making and serving food here. The owner is also very polite, attentive and kind. If you are around Peckham I highly recommend this amazing kiosk.

Edited: Now with five stars as I ordered it again and it WAS EVEN BETTER! They had listened to my feedback and it was completely delicious. Great service, great food. Really recommend the veg feast box. Previous review: Hugely generous portions and really good. If I was being fussy, I'd say it lacked some of the extra seasoning and herbs to give it an extra punch of flavour, but there was nothing dissatisfying about it: it was hot, filling, tasty and hit the spot! Just what you want from hearty takeaway grub.

Box wallah dishes are so fresh, you can taste the individual spices, and the attention to detail is outstanding. The chutneys each have a distinct flavour and compliment the meals. My first butter chicken samosa blew my mind. All the meat is so succulent and juicy. The sustainable packaging ensures the rice stays steamed for delivery. A highlight was the prawn curry cooked to perfection and soaked full of delicious rassam coconut taste. The best Indian food in London.

Visited Boxwallah today, the food was absolutely amazing!! I'm quite particular about Indian food but I loved this. The flavours were awesome! The young lady who served me recommended the butter chicken and I loved it. The portion was very generous, reasonably priced and excellent customer service. I can't wait to visit again, thank you!!

If I could give more stars I would. The owner was so helpful from the off, asked us what we normally liked, then recommended two dishes and explained their origins. The packaging was appetising and very well designed - suitable for packed lunch in the park or taking back to the office. The curry itself was so fresh and the flavours well balanced, you can taste each of the herbs and spices and they got the level of spice bang - on! Will be coming back soon with more people. Looking forward to the day delivery expands into my area.

This food is so good! One of my favourite Indian restaurants in London. I have tried vegeterian byriani, veg korma and butter paneer and there were all delicious! Full of flavours and portions are huge! Ordered many times and I was never disappointed. My husband tried some chicken dishes and he loved them too. Highly recommended!

Wonderful fresh modern Indian food, unlike and superior to most traditional Indian restaurants in the area (not that there’s anything wrong with them, but nice to have an alternative). Very generous portions. Lovely kind owners who personally delivered in spite of the fact that we misunderstood the ordering process. Highly recommend and can’t wait to visit in person when you’re open.

I would write them a poem but since I am not a poet here it goes - As someone from Dhaka, I know what authentic biriyani should taste like. For the last year, I have been sampling many of the Londons biriyanis and sadly most of them (even the big name ones) disappointed me. They were usually too bland and dry. But not Boxwallah! The first morsel of biriyani I put in my mouth took me back to Dhaka. The flavor of ghee and saffron, the juiciness of the meat, not too oily, not too spicy, just perfect chicken biriyani. 10/10 Then came the butter chicken. 10/10. Other butter chickens I tried around were too sweet with extra sugar, mostly to hide the lack of flavor. Boxwallahs butter chicken (which they cleverly named BBC), has the perfect flavor so they dont need to mask this with extra sugar. The daal tadka was average. 6/10. The mango chutney was superbly mouth-watering. The lamb tikki is nice with a splendid scent of herbs and spices. We actually started nibbling on those right after opening the box since they looked so nice. 9/10 One additional thing. We ordered home delivery. The way the food came packaged in layers reminded me of the "Boxwallahs" back home delivering lunch in the office districts. They must have put extra thought into how to package their deliveries to do justice to their name. All in all, great experience ordering from them. I do not order often but will definitely order from them in the future.

I had the green chicken korma and it was amazing! Extremely flavoursome and tender. Can't wait to come back and try other dishes.
