What an amazing transformation! I am so pleased with the cleanliness, service and amazing taste of the fish and chips. I will definitely be attending regularly

The best fish and chips around. Great portion sizes for a great price and fish cooked fresh to order. So glad to have found this place and for it to be my local chippy.
Due to horrible weather we decided to grab a take away on the way home. Never normaly do this so what a great surprise to get such lovely fish and chips! Fish tasted really fresh and not greasy. Chips were fab too. We have lived here 30 years, what I have missed!

The best fish and chips, ever. Don't take my word just try it once. We used to live in angel and therefore it was easy for us to do a take away almost every other Friday. Now we have moved away but we still come here for the fish and chips.
River Fish Bar is everything that is good and holy about fish and chips: delicious fish, well-sized and cooked chips, a wide range of options and really, really good value. I am gutted to have moved further away but will be making frequent pilgrimages back along the Essex Road.
Since River Fish Bar has been taken over, the cooked fish and chips are brilliant, dare I say better than Sutton and Sons down the road and half the price. They cook to order, hence very crispy...Yum

Fantastic fresh food, cant fault it. BUT, didnt receive order from uber driver 2 saturdays in a row. Had to claim money back from uber and thats not easy as they only receive calls from merchants and drivers. Its a shame for the shop as they must have dishonest drivers delivering for them. Therefore
Ordered take away two weeks in a row - big portions, really fresh and still hot, delivered really quickly both times. Best chippy I've had in London to be fair.

Very nice food I love fish and chips but find it hard to get a good shop in London I usually wait till we visit the seaside but now found one that's just as good lovey clean and friendly stuff 😊
I stopped there for lunch last week while passing and had a large cod and chips which was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and a very generous portion. Thank you.
Lovely fish, everything I have been in there is cooked for you so you have to wait but we'll.worth it.
