I haven’t dined there, but just popped in to buy a bottle of wine. The variety of choice is fantastic, one can find some rare gems there. Staff is quite knowledgeable and are able to offer advise,if a required item is missing in their assortiment. As an example - I was looking for white hermitage, but they didn’t have it, so I ended up finding a nice refreshing peppery pays d’oc instead.
A really nice concept bar located perfectly on Gracechurch St near Monument.
Serve your self craft beers and a big selection of wines too. Upstairs seating is nice but allows you to notice the dusty unit tops below...
Quite loud and vibrant so probably not great for intimate conversations.
Good experience here with some friends. You get to try some wines for about £2-3 and then get a small glass or large glass if you like it. You end up spending quite a bit of money as all the little tasters add up. The food was delicious as well. Overall it was a good place to try different wines but I would have wanted a bigger selection
A fantastic bar with a wide variety of wines, and the staff is enthusiastic and friendly.
Had a really lovely experience here Friday night meeting a friend. First of all, love the vibe and decor, especially the comfy green couches. LOVE it’s dog-friendly as my little ole man was a hit. Waitresses were very friendly and accommodating to answering questions on how the drink system works. Very impressed with the nibbles: salty, creamy and delicious cod fish balls and a lovely vegan cheese plate. Impressed with the food options. Clean toilets too. Plus no loud music so you can actually have a good conversation.
Of course amazing wine selection and love the cheap tastings you can do. However, it’s quite expensive for a 125mL and even more so for a 175mL glass. £9!!!! And up. You’re betting off buying a bottle.
I've long been a fan of the vagabond concept, with the idea of being able to try a wide, diverse range of wines a winner in my books.
The Monument edition is another solid entry, well located, and well done up. Good selection of wines, as you'd hope, and decent enough food (I suspect we didn't order the best options).

While walking down the street, my partner and I's curiosity was peeked by the shop's sign. Upon entering we knew we had found a treasure. Erica and John greeted us and showed us around, then went above and beyond to answer all of our questions. With so many wines to choose from, we found so much to be excited for, but the real surprise came when we found out how good the food is. We have been recommending them ever since.
Stepping into Vagabond Wine Bar, I immediately felt the warmth and welcome from the attentive team. It was like being greeted by old friends, making me instantly comfortable. The carefully curated wine selection offered a variety of delightful options, each sip taking me on a personal journey of flavors.
The staff's expertise was impressive, as they effortlessly guided me through the wine list, sharing their passion and knowledge. Their recommendations were spot-on, perfectly complementing my preferences and leaving me eager to try more.
As I savored the wines, I couldn't resist pairing them with the delectable dishes on offer. The artisanal cheese platters and charcuterie were divine, enhancing the wine's flavors and making the experience truly exceptional.
The ambiance at Vagabond was enchanting, with soft lighting and soothing music creating a cozy atmosphere. It was easy to lose track of time, immersed in the delightful company and the joys of exploring new wines.
Vagabond Wine Bar is now a cherished spot for me—a place where I can indulge in my love for wines, enjoy the attentive service of the wonderful team, and relish every moment in the inviting ambiance. If you're a wine enthusiast seeking a personal and unforgettable experience, Vagabond is a must-visit destination.
Really cool and unique place to have informal drinks and dinner!
Whole concept is really cool. Charge your card and you’re away, amazing selection, they also have 5/6 beers on tap in case you have non wine drinkers. They also have a smaller selection of super premium wines and dessert wines. Which were a special treat.
Food was platters, meats and cheese don’t really disappoint when you’re drinking wine.
I’d go back and recommend.
Again back to vagabond, a perfect place for wine lovers, with a good range of craft beers and delicious food. Team Monument thank you for making sure everyone in our party was welcomed and having a great time.
Great place to meet for a drink of you want to do something a bit different! Very enjoyable evening
After a night out with a friend, we weren't ready to head home, the service was great. The staff very helpful as two ladies drinking and we may have had a little too much, they were courteous and made sure we were OK... thank you.
Ocation is excellent 👌🏾
Max was lovely! Recommended some of the most gorgeous wines on offer! Great experience, definitely coming back soon!
Chic wine bar with extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. There was a guest wine flight on from the Loire valley last I visited which was really exciting to try. Staff will happily explain some snack pairings too! Enomatic machines were off for safety reasons but the place adapted well.
Lovely spacious bar with a great selection of wine! They have flights of wine with tasting notes etc. so it feels a bit like an impromptu wine tasting.
The staff are amazing here. We were served by someone who I believe was American... No I'm joking - she was Canadian! Chelsea, if you're reading this, I did eventually frame it (see photo). It's hanging pride of place in my hallway. I hope you're proud :)
Will hopefully be back soon! Thanks all.
We had a lovely experience, Max talked us though all the different options and helped us choose the best wine for our tastes
