Friendly staff and good service. Nice decor, lots of seating.
Ordered double kebab roll, it was decent and price was reasonable for the ends.
Few things were missing from the menu, hopefully they will be available on my next visit.
Visited on a friday evening with family, decor was nice, friendly staff warm greetings as we came in. Food arrived within 10 mins of ordering. Wanted the nihari but had finished instead we opted for the Karahi Gosht which was amazingly tasty and so tender. The seekh kebabs were juicy and just right.
Family run restaurant with decent amount of seating. Food freshly prepared and tasty. Will definitely go back again to try some of the other dishes on the menu.
The cafe is large and clean lots of small tables available we came in at lunch time and it wasn't busy so got seats straight away menu is small and simple and the food was delicious and fresh. Price was reasonable as well and very good when compared to some of the other eateries around Green Street

We ordered a mixture of starters, Masala fish, chicken tikka, lamb chops with naan.
The fish was nice and spicy, chicken tikka was tender and the chops tender and juicy.
To wash it down we ordered th
This place is excellent. A proper hidden gem. If in east London, make sure you go there. The mix grill was to die for! The samosa chaat and different types of chips were delicious!
The curry’s were amazing! The taste and the way it was presented! And to top it all off, finish with their signature ah
Top place, I've been three times and tried different dishes and everything was tasty and fresh.
It's my new favourite place. The owner/waiter is really friendly.

I used to get food from here back when I was at uni about 8 years ago when it was called Al Firdous (the saag is to die for and the best I've ever had honestly it's unbeatable) after graduating I never really went back to the area as I live in North London but I kept thinking of this place and wonde
When I lived in these ends I used to come here and grab a cheeky kebab roll for the stroll home so it was lovely to see they have redecorated and have made the place bigger.
Went for a meal here with the family yesterday and food was great, hit the spot! Glad we came here instead of the busy Green
Went with my family for after dinner Teas and Coffees, really pleased I spotted this cafe tucked away on Plashet Rd. The decor and ambience of place was really lovely. Staff really helpful too. Will definitely be coming back with family and friends to try their food, menu prices look very reasonable
I use to go here often when it was called Al Firdous. My favourite were the samosas and vegetable curry. My family go here quite a bit but I've been once since, not knowing it's the same place with a name change. The staff were very nice and friendly. The food is fresh, delicious and so was the Chai
High quality ingredients, great portion sizes, and really tasty at a very reasonable price. You can tell the food is really made with care. The chicken tikka wraps are really good! Will be ordering again soon, thank you.
This is the best place for tea in the whole of Forest Gate. I sjould know, I've tried them all. It's hot, frothy, creamy and delicious. Literally my weekly fix and I'd go every day if I was passing that way.
Staff are wonderful and the food is good. What more could you want?
Amazing hidden gem in east london
Been here at least 4 times and each time never have been let down by the food or service!
The ahmeds tea is one of the best tea's I have ever had! Must try!
