The soup and noodles are of high quality. Didn’t feel any MSG used. The pork is particularly soft which is the best I tried even better than in Japan.

Convenient location and good as usual. My recent takeaway experience from Ippudo Goodge Street was outstanding. The packaging was meticulously done, ensuring no spills or mess, which is particularly commendable considering the challenge of transporting ramen. The taste of the food was as remarkable as dining in, making the takeaway experience just as satisfying. If you're looking for a great takeaway ramen option, Ippudo Goodge Street is highly recommended.

Lovely staff, easily accessible location and some lovely Ramen. Bring your appetite. I had the spicy meat ramen but as I walked out I saw somebody order a dry Ramen - I'd like to try that next time. Don't forget to order your pint of Asahi !

It's recognizably ramen, but refined and intentional and exquisitely executed at the same time. It was a long awaited experience and you will not be disappointed.

Great service food and prices. The ramen is not the greatest you'll have in London but it's up there with the better ones.

I loved it! One of the best ramen I’ve had! Make sure to try Shiromaru Tamago ramen which is their classic one with an egg. Also, they have lunch offer and you can have a side dish with your ramen or noodles for £2. We went for crispy gyoza and it was delicious! We paid £44 for two ramen, one portion of gyoza and two pints of beer. They add service charge to the bill, but the staff was super friendly so very well deserved anyway! Definitely worth the hype!

Outside was cold. So a perfect Ramen to warm it up a friday evening. Very tasty. The staff was friendly. The restaurant is not big but a tipical ramen bar. We were 4 and we took 4 different ramen. We were all happy about our meal.

If you are craving Ramen Ippudo is the place to be. The menu is small and leads to less confusion. We had the karaka-men and veggie ramen which were to die for. We also had the hot sake along with the food. Definitely coming back for more!

Just discovered this ramen restaurant. It was 30 minutes before closing, but the waiter was kind and accommodating and still seated us. The ramen stock was SO good, and everything in the bowl SO tasty; the eggs were cooked to perfection, as were the thin slices of pork. Yum! Will definitely come again.

I’ve been wanting to visit Ippudo again after my first visit (their Canary Wharf branch) a few months ago and I’m happy to say that the food at the Goodge St branch was just as tasty. The service was just as fast, too. This branch felt a little smaller/tighter, but we went early in the evening before it got too busy so thankfully it didn’t end up feeling too claustrophobic. I had the Akamaru ramen again (soooo good!) but this time got to try their crispy chicken gyoza and edamame with salt - both, top notch. I’m definitely an Ippudo fan!

I know it can’t compare the ramen in Japan, but the noodle isn’t my taste and too salted for me. But the guyzo (fried dumplings) are so delicious, highly recommended. It’s a popular store, but the service is good.

This place was very welcoming. It had a nice cozy atmosphere and the service was quick. The ramen was really good and the portion was perfect. The fried dumplings were a bit hard but nice in taste. I would recommend this if you want a quiet warm lunch or dinner.

I had the spicy pork ramen. Normally, it would be a bit too spicy for my taste, but since I was feeling a bit under the weather, it helped with clearing my sinuses. Overall, the taste was good. It was an hour to closing time (end of lunch) when we arrived but the servers were very accommodating and they gave us enough time to eat. They even let us know it was last order 15 minutes before close. Would come back to try their other ramen

Really good ramen place, especially number 5. Good taste and food quality. The restaurant looks like a quick meal place, but it is clean. The service could be better if they gave a proper assessment of all the ramen options and if they could include a take-away option if you don’t finish your plate. This would be more sustainable. Recommended for Ramen lovers!

Pretty good and probably the best Ramen in the Fitzrovia area. I’d for sure come a little earlier as there is usually a queue. The kitchen seating area is a bit cold in the winter so try get a seat near the front.

Great branch of the fampus Ippudo Ramen chain from Japan. I think it says a lot that this remains a popular establishment despite coming to London the initial Ramen craze of a few years ago (when Bone Daddies and Tonkotsu first opened). The service and ambience does not eschew the traditional japanese greetings on your arrival which gives an air of authenticity even before you have their food. The Akamaru Ramen (original ramen with garlic oil and miso paste) is favourite of the 3 broths on offer. The signature broth is extremely cloudy and creamy on taste, evidence of the slow cooking of pork bones and gives a rich flavour. The garlic oil adds a lift and slight kick to the creamy both that compliments well. The tamago (soft boiled egg) is cooked to perfection and remains velvety and runny even if left to the end of the bowl to eat. Unlike other establishments, Ippudo asks for your preference for the texture of your noodles. I would recommend the default 'hard' option as it has the most satisfying 'mouth feel' (thank you Brooklyn 99 for this label), you don't want soggy noodles ruining the experience! The menu is fairly limited, focusing on their main offering of Ramen with various additions and some rice dishes. It seems they have since removed Takoyaki from the menu which is a shame but do check website for details as I found this to be replicated in branch. Premises in light of covid 19 are clean, well maintained and professionally kept. Toilets at this branch are a little cramped but clean and usable nonetheless. Seating is a little limited although there is bar seating at the rear plus a couple of extra small tables. There may even be basement dining suggested by the arrows but this did not look available on my visit in Oct 2021. For parents of young children there is little space to store a stroller anywhere in the restaurant so do bear this in mind.
