The pumpkin spice latte at Pangea Cafe is the best I've ever had. It's creamy and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice. The coffee shop also has a friendly shop dog called Archie who is always happy to greet customers! Such a gem of a place, owner is welcoming and friendly too.
Wonderful little cafe with really nice coffee. The outdoor seating area was a great place to sip my iced caramel latte and watch the world go by on a warm Saturday morning. There’s even a cute, boisterous dog there too! I can see nothing wrong with it, so I’ll have to give it a 5.
Love this place! The coffee is top notch, as well as mochas, latte, cappuccino, toasties chocolates and more. The service is personal and charming! Gabe, the owner is awesome and his little puppy Archie is sweet as can be. There's sometimes free house plants in coffee cups to take away, and always free coffee compost bags, which recharge roses and other plants soil... which is a bonus. Outside and indoor seating, community vibe and a puppy... what more could you want?!
A proper East London gem. Great coffee, and more food options each time I go there. Makes a top quality toastie.
The atmosphere is what makes this place though. High ceiling, hardwood flooring, great music played all day, art by local painters on the wall. You can tell that this is a passion project for its Aussie owner - evidenced by the fact he keeps his sweet little dog around (if you're lucky you'll see him curled up on a seat in the sun (the dog, not the owner)).
Perfect spot for a pre-work pick-me-up or a long black and an afternoon snack overlooking Commercial Street.
Pangea is the perfect coffee shop. It’s tasteful decor is the ultimate accompaniment to a truly exceptional cup of coffee, made by Gabe, barista, shop owner, and most importantly, Archie’s owner. On to Archie, this pup never failed to bring a smile to my face, and that coupled with Gabe’s coffees makes for the best start to any morning.
A cosy corner between Aldgate and Liverpool Street for a chat over a hot latte, more Italian style than Starbucks. Seating is limited and cramped up. Singles welcomed for a morning huddle from the freezing winter.
Great coffee but very limited seating and rubbish lined streets. Would definitely recommend for take away though
The owner was interesting and fun to chat with. It is a cozy welcoming little cafe. Archie, the dog is a great additive! The coffee was so smooth and delicious.
Sat to read a book and have a coffee. Great coffee, cosy atmosphere, fast service, and a very cute dog at the cafe.
The cutest coffee place in the neighbourhood. It’s not spacious though, but that adds the charm. Tasty flat white! Cute dog!
Gabe is a sweetheart and his little dog Archie is an absolute gem. He was very accommodating to us and we chatted away the whole time we were there. We ordered 2 oat lattes and they packed a punch! Full of flavours, beautifully smooth coffee and perfect oat foam. If you’re around the Shoreditch area, do pop in to see the boys as they are such sweeties.
You won’t get a warmer welcome, better service plus a better looking dog (Archie) combined with damn fine coffee anywhere in London.
Plus a restaurant recommendation (Tayaabs) that was spot on despite the 3.9.
Attractive setting with books to browse and delicious coffee to enjoy, courtesy of Dark Arts.
Excellent proper coffee with very cute interior
Yet to try the coffee, but the matcha was surprisingly good. Would come here again for the flat white and see if anything changes from my perspective - for now, would recommend. Owner is very friendly and welcoming
Very cute little café, with a very friendly dog and a lovely barista. Sadly they had no pastries left, but that's on me as I came very late.
The coffee was delicious!
Lovely staff, good atmosphere and great coffee!
