We had after work drinks and some dinner here. The cocktails are nice and strong enough. I didn't feel watered down at all. I had the chicken rotisserie quarter, which was actually quite generous in size and also tasty. The spring green beg was also lovely and fresh. The vibe was nice. The dj was playing good music, a bit loud for talking, but what else do you expect in a bar! The music was good, so I didn't mind.
Beautiful outdoor seating - makes for perfect sport to eat out during the summer. They have a good selection of drinks including boozy coffee (which I do recommend) and a nice charcuterie board. They also have a good selection of food items although they could have added more veggie option. All in all - I loved this place mostly because of it’s ambiance and I would definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in Canary Wharf. The staff are also super friendly!
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. The food was amazing and great value for money. The service was attentive and the staff were lovely.
Beautiful setting, would definitely recommend.
Thank you to all the staff at Mackenzie Walk for making my daughters “Hen Brunch” so lovely. We all had a fabulous time and the food was amazing. My only small criticism would be that the service charge was pretty hefty and I don’t recall any info in the pre booking details to advise me of this!
We had a great time though and thank you 😊 x
I just popped in for quick pint after work. There’s a lot of seating inside and outside. The decor is beautiful and the seats and lounges are super comfortable. Most importantly. The staff are really pleasant and attentive. And good looking. 😂
I didn’t expect that in Canary Wharf.
The pint cost £7.30, which is insane. I blame 13 years of Tory rule for that. It’s probably a cheap pint around these parts.
Lovely restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. Lovely atmosphere and views. Perfect for a summers day. Waiters were attentive and helpful. My own negatives were that the pancakes were cold and also I thought it was cheeky that the breakfast add on’s were £2.50 each bumping the breakfast brioche from £9.50 to £17. Nevertheless I would visit again.
Generally a very nice place for brunch!
During summer it has tables outside near the river! So the views are quite good!
Also a nice relaxing place for cocktails at night!
I also like their customer service. Staff are always friendly and welcoming!
Fantastic food, great drinks (went for bottomless brunch) great staff (especially the server with dyed hair) really enjoyed, the perfect spot, I'll be back for sure
We've eaten here a few times. This time we stopped for lunch and had a selection of small plates.
Mostly very good. Fresh flavours and good twists on classics.
We recently held a private event at this venue for 200 guests and it was absolutely incredible. The communication/planning was smooth and easy, and the staff were extremely attentive. On the day, we were delighted by the amount of preparation, support and professionalism provided on the day.
The food and drink were also outstanding, with very friendly bar staff!
I'm very pleased with the food I've had my first time at No. 35 Mackenzie Walk.
It looked very good and tasted even better. I wasn't too keen on the sausages in the house breakfast, but everything else was delicious and cooked to perfection.
Lovely setting, both inside and outside, but we felt the staff was a little "distracted". Maybe a stressful Sunday? Service was quick, though the restaurant was quite empty.
Prices were a little high - £13 for Eggs Royal in a casual space seemed like a lot, but we had a lovely time nonetheless.
All in all, recommended. Will go back.
The place, the view and then food!
Food was good, but not worth of 5 stars.
Good place for lunch. Tried their egg roll and shakshuka, both were good.
Music was good, food was great. The overall vibe was lovely. Loved it very much
