If you know you know. This Bricks & Mortar Dandy has been a long time coming and the team delivers fully.
A simple, clean menu full of understated excellence. Cheese crackers, one of the best snacks I have had in months.
The beetroots, whey and burnt butter was simple, clever and played heavily of texture. Get it.
The beef tartare. With the BBQ bone marrow. Get it. Thank me later. I promise.
The cocktails were superp, following the theme of the food, with some very interesting twists. Ask the team about Empirical Spirits and buy anything featuring them, you will not regret it.
The wine list goes from strength to strength, some several very well selected orange wines for for more adventurous.
In short - a must visit addition to the area and we'll worth a journey of you are not local. 100% recommend.
Keep up the good work team Xx
Restaurant on Maltby Street in the arches - really buzzy area with a good vibe. Wine was delicious and every dish exceptional, SO tasty! Highly recommend. Try as much as possible - we couldn't choose a favourite between all of the dishes we ordered!

Had one of the best meals ever at Dandy! Every dish is consistently delicious and the service is excellent! Well worth a visit!
Such a great addition to the Bermondsey area. The tagliatelle with Nduja and burrata was amazing and the lamb ribs left me speechless 👌🏽
Together with the great friendly service it was a pleasure dining here with friends and can’t wait to return
Innovative brunch, friendly Aussie service, low key scandanavian interiors that imbue hygge...perfect on a cold day when the rest of Maltby Street feels like it's too much to handle.
Thank you Dandy for such a lovely evening! The menu is always changing but at the time of our visit it included fresh and creative options alongside perfectly executed classics. Familiar fav's like roast lamb and fried chicken provided all the flavours I’d expect and were elevated with great seasoning and the perfect crunch.
Dandy also introduced me to some new dishes like a delicious chorizo base topped with a toasty golden egg yolk that cracked with the same satisfying crunch as a creme brûlée crust- each bite was rich and deeply satisfying.
Dessert was an in house prepared sour cheesecake-a tangy, fluffy indulgence I didn’t know I’d been missing.
Friendly service and a well executed cocktail menu topped off a great night.
Also worth nothing that there was a large variety of gluten free dishes in addition to several dishes that could be easily altered to accommodate gluten sensitivity. One of the guests in our party was Celiac and was thrilled to have so many delicious options.
Finally DANDY has open again. From London Fields to Bermondsey same amazing experience. Food quality very good. Love this place. I really recommend if you are in the area. I guess one of the best one!
Had a really good meal in here with friends and can’t wait to go back!
The restaurant is in a lovely space under railway arches and you can tell a lot of care and thought has been put into the decor.
The food was fantastic. My only issue was that we didn’t get to try everything as there were so many great sounding dishes on the menu! The highlights for me were there lamb ribs, the tagliatelle with n’duja and buratta and the cheesecake was the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. Oh, and the cheese crackers are a must!!
The service really made the evening special too. They recommend the right dishes she made sure we didn’t over order and also helped us pick two great bottles of reasonably priced wine.
I’m looking forward to going back and trying some of the dishes we didn’t have.
I can 100% recommend this restaurant for date nights and especially group meals as the main dishes are great for sharing.
Top top restaurant. Can’t recommend it enough!
Expectations were super high as we loved the original Dandy in London Fields ... and it didn’t disappoint.
They are still finding their feet, so things weren’t perfect and on a busy Friday evening they seemed to be struggling a little. The food took very long to arrive, we had a wobbly table that couldn’t be fixed, service at times seemed a bit frazzled ... but the food was actually fantastic, the place has a nice vibe and the staff were endlessly friendly and optimistic.
A nice wine list too, but rather pricey. You’ll struggle to find a bottle under £40!
Overall it has all signs of becoming a fantastic place again.
Wow , incredible restaurant. Home cooked food with a touch of class.
We went on a Sunday . The lamb ribs were brilliant, all dishes were great fun to share and really feel like the food was made with love.
Wine was also great and well priced. Will be back for brunch and dinner
Great dining experience. Delicious lamb, melt in your mouth good. Goats curd with chicken skin was inspired. Relaxed feeling with attentive staff. Credit to the chef.
Great ambience, attentive staff, stunning cocktails and delicious food. The bone marrow and steak tartare was a real highlight. Will definitely be back.
I'm fortunate to have had this delightful establishment open around the corner from me and so have dined there on numerous occasions already - it continues to impress each time, food, service, cocktails and wine are all on point.
All in all, excellent and look forward to seeing how it evolves,
Absolutely blown away by my visit to DANDY last week. Amazing food, great wine, really attentive and friendly staff, it has the lot! Cannot wait to get back down there soon.
Amazing food. Every dish was great. Good wine list. Clients loved it. Universally enjoyed.
What a gem! Heard good things from a friend and did not disappoint. The tagliatelle with ragu was amazing and loved the twisted negroni- good wine list too.
Dandy was lovely. Had the most amazing lunch on Sunday. Very very tasty menu. Will be back for certain!
