Very delicious!! The dishes are fresh and beautifully priced. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and is a great place for dates. By the way, the waiter is very enthusiastic :)

Good food, without a dish to be faulted. The lamb was especially delicious and so was the chorizo. Would say the cocktails are well priced, but up and down in quality (some too sweet/salty). But we were there from afternoon to evening, eating and drinking. Great atmosphere!
Had Sunday roast buffet, lamb was soft and very tasty, beef on stick was bit undercooked so quite hard to cut, steak was bit dry, sausage was nice. For the side, chips were bit soggy, salad and beans were nice, rice was very good. The seafood casserole didn't impress me which was bit disappointing, the flavour was not strong enough. Creme bulee was very lemonie and not too sweet, but bit too wet. Service and environment were pretty good.

The food is so awesome!! We tried the grilled octopus, fried chicken wings and calamari. The grilled octopus was really fresh, brought us the memories of Portugal… plus the friendly staff, we will definitely come back again!

Great restaurant offering delicious traditional portuguese dishes! My partner and I shared the arroz de mariscos and it was absolutely delicious. Do not miss the pancakes de dolce de leite!
Having moved out of the area we keep coming back. Authentic, tasty and worth every penny. As foodies, my wife and I are quite demanding, but La Caravela never ceases to satisfy our desire for good quality, wonderfully cooked food.
I have found the food very tasty, of course is not like being in Portugal, but the chef is giving you the same flavour that you can find there, still my sardines were not properly cooked. The rest of the dishes were impeccable. Another little problem was the service, I asked to pay the drinks separately as I wanted to pay those for the whole table, but the waiter was well annoyed by my request, plus they were quite annoyed by the fact that our booking was reduced because of some inconvenient.
To conclude, there are lots of Portuguese restaurant in the area, which have the same prices but this restaurant has a more attention to details on the plate. I will go back to try the meat next time, hoping for a better service this time.
Food was delicious and the waiters were extremely friendly. It’s slightly on the pricier side for a meal out, but worth the money as a nice treat! The seafood was delicious. Cannot wait to return.
We were in two minds when we walked up about the live music but the manager JP gave us a quiet table outside and closed a door to make us happy. The best service we’ve had in a very very long time. Fantastic food too. Hugely recommend!
Beautiful Portuguese restaurant serving authentic Portuguese food. Very good service and the food was first class, we had several dishes, all cooked beautifully. The wines were also genuine and prices were par for the type of food and wine consumed. Friendly genuine staff who know their stuff. Will recommend this restaurant if you want real genuine Portuguese food.
A local gem. Incredible food, live singer with a lovely warm atmosphere. Can’t recommend enough. Felt like we were in Portugal on a gorgeous June evening. I recommend the sea bass and roasted pork with orange. 10/10
Enjoyed dinner with friends here. It’s the 3rd time we’ve visited. The Portuguese cuisine is delicious, good sized portions and relaxed comfortable atmosphere.
