I had booked the afternoon tea menu for my 30th Birthday treat with my mother. It was such a lovely experience. The afternoon tea selection was delicious and well presented, the staff were friendly and explained in details on what was on the menu. The atmosphere was beautifully designed and minimal. The afternoon tea itself was so worth the money also, I felt fully satisfied and sooo full afterwards - that I didn't even have dinner that night. I would definitely go there again and experience one of the workshops maybe. They even did a nice happy birthday sign for me, with chocolate strawberries and macarons.
My wife and I celebrated her birthday with their sushi masterclass, and it was wonderful.
The food, atmosphere and service were great and the Chef who taught us was amazing.
We came out of the experience with full bellies and a lot of sushi-making tips. I would definitely recommend it. 🍣
Excellent restaurant but a little bit pricey.
Teriyaki duck breast (orange, pomegranate, hazelnuts)
Yellowtail hosomaki
Robata grilled aubergine (chilli, spring onion, ginger miso)
Wine (Langhe Arneis)
Matcha tea (matcha green velvet lalani & co)
Chocolate fondant
Good afternoon tea possible too.
Woke up needing Asian food and stumbled across this gem of a restaurant! The Japanese breakfast here was truly so so good. The salmon was so moist and perfectly seasoned. The vegetables nutritious with the right bite. The chawanmushi beautifully subtle. And the hijiki salad perfect with the rice. Overall so balanced and pleased and a wonderful way to start the day. Would eat here often if I was in town!
My server Elizabeth was truly a gem from start to finish and was just the sweet cherry on top of it all. Please eat yourself!

Thank you Louis and Taiga for the service that’s second to none! Definitely will be back here!
Came here for the Sushi Masterclass Experience. It was very well presented by the chef. All the hotel staff were very helpful. Definitely an enjoyable experience 😊 And great fun eating what we made.
We went for the Sushi Making Masterclass session. Absolutely brilliant and thoroughly enjoyed it! The chef was extremely friendly and happy to share their knowledge with us (a class of 6 in total). While we've made sushi rolls before he gave us lots of tips and helped us make some of the more intimidating rolls (e.g. inside out rolls) and showed us they're nothing to be defeated by.
At the end we got to enjoy the food we made after the chef had cut up the rolls and shown us how to make it presentable.
Would certainly go for food!
I went for the sushi experience with a friend and had a fantastic time. (Sushil) the instructor so informative but also created a relaxed and fun. The restaurant is beautiful. I feel like I left with enough information to try making sushi for my self but also the confidence to experiment. I would highly recommend!
What an experience this was! The afternoon tea was delicious 😋. I took my friend here for her birthday and she absolutely loved it. The staff here are exceptional and they really made the experience so much more. I have to give a shout-out to Elizabeth. She really was great at serving us and our needs. My friend has severe allergies and she made sure that everything was perfect for her always checking if everything was ok. She also got the chef to do a happy birthday plate for my friend, honestly she was so sweet and I really felt great leaving the restaurant and it also made me want to come back very soon! I also have to mention Joanna who was also super helpful and friendly. What a lovely place to dine!❤️
We celebrated my Mum’s birthday with a Sushi Making Masterclass - it was absolutely fantastic. Special thanks to our tutor Kazuyo who was brilliant, and all the staff who provided a really special experience for us both. Would absolutely recommend to anyone and hope to return in future.
Yummy sushi’s my favourite was the seared A5 Wagyu nigiri it just melts in your mouth 😋
Nice and cozy ambience. Service is good. Food quality and portion is good was well.
We ordered Shrimp Tempura, Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Veg Tempura, Tender Brocoli, sushi roll, fried lotus and truffle fries.
The food was freshly prepared and served hot. Good quick service. Brocoli tenders were too tender.
Reservations recommended.
Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this fabulous restaurant. We started from the cocktails in a bar that is a little bit hidden away, but the waiter will take you there - very cosy, stylish and intimate bar with a fireplace. Then we proceeded to have the dinner in the restaurant - beautifully decorated place with tasteful furniture and tableware. The food was great and well presented.
The only recommendation to perfect the service would be to bring starters first and then mains, our food seemed to arrive all at the same time and there was problem to place it all on the table (3 or 4 starters + 2 mains), it would be nicer if it arrived gradually.
TOKii is based inside the Prince Akatoki Hotel. It's a super stylish, authentic Japanese experience and is a must visit for any fans of Japanese culture or cuisine.
We visited TOKii for afternoon tea, including the saki pairings option. The service and food were both excellent. We took one for the team and asked if any of the food items were refillable - they're not. However, we were pretty stuffed by the end so rest assured, you get more than enough food!
Celebrating a birthday and had an amazing experience at Tokii..Service from Paolo was excellent. Food delicate and delicious. Would definitely recommend
Japanese Afternoon Tea. Really lovely selection of savory & sweet. 12 different teas to choose, with endless refills. 4 different sakes served with food. Service was discrete and helpful. An expensive treat, and well recommended
In the heart of Marylebone, there is a fantastic Japanese restaurant. We had a great day there and were escorted by Loreley, the waitress. To be honest, we would not have had as much fun if it hadn't been for her recommendations. We ordered a variety of dishes, with the finest being the grilled aubergines, octopus skewer, and beef tataki fillet. All very tasty and there's a lot of it. The rest of the food was tasty too, however avoid using soy sauce because it masks the flavour of the food. Cocktails were modest for the price but delicious. It's a good idea to go for special occasions and a bit expensive!
Lovely atmosphere, restaurant situated within the Prince Akatoki Hotel.
We were served by a very polite and attentive Elizabeth, and had an overall pleasant experience.
The Japanese themed dining was decent and ranged from sushi to hot plates, steak and skewers, the flavours were nice but left a bit more to be expected considering the pricing.
The dinner was topped off with some lovely complementary fudge, overall good experience.
Cosy and intimate restaurant. We went for dinner and had the 4 course set menu and were really impressed. Flavours of most dishes were delicate but refined. Would highly recommend the beef fillet tataki and yellowtail carpaccio.
