Amazing ice-cream and great customer service!
There was a line when we came on a Sunday around 6pm, and some people got frustrated and left the queue. But honestlt the wait wasn't that long and there was only one lady serving, what else do they want. She said they had been busy non stop since 12, and most of the flavors were sold out. She said they kept making more but they were selling faster than they were able to produce! I recommend getting early if you can get disappointed by this. I thought it was understandable, and I was able to try the Nutella cheesecake and Lotus flavors and they were amazing!! Portion was really generous as well. I heard the lady telling the customer in front of us they trained in Italy and they go every year to learn from chefs. You can tell is good quality product and they care about what they sell! Will comeback for sure.
Definitely worth a visit, a long family history making ice cream for the last 130 years.
We enjoyed very much the ice creams.
Had the toblerone and the tiramisu : both were good but I must admit the tiramisu was excellent.
Then we had grapefruit and piedmont hazelnut, both flavors were very tasty, a slight preference for the hazelnut (whole frozen hazelnut inside).
The cup are actually eatable, made of cone, first time I had that. Nice touch.
I like the feeling of the shop, home made ice creams, tasty, delicious, nice service and I would love for sure going back.
Excellent Ice Cream but not as good as Bilmonte. The best thing was that they have gluten free cones. I had Pistachio and Chocolate ice cream on a Gluten free cone.
The flavours are freshly prepared and are nice but they just don’t hit the spot like Bilmontes Double Pistachio or Chocolate flavours.
The staff are wonderful and all have a big smile on their faces.
This place relies more on marketing then the actual ice cream, it’s worth a visit but it’s not going to make me want to go back there specifically, I would go if I was near the area.
Hands down the best gelato in London!!! Amazing, original flavours that always taste so fresh and utterly delicious! The flavours change daily though they will always have their staple/most popular flavours on and the specials of the week might run for a few days. They also adapt their special flavours to the season (e.g. pumpkin at Halloween, mince pie at Christmas, Colomba at Easter, Eton mess in summer). This week I tried the marmite and buttered toast flavour gelato which was mind-blowing (and I don’t even like marmite…!). So good I went back for it again the next day. The servings are generous and the price is very reasonable for London! In my opinion Caliendo’s easily beats Gelupo, Oddono’s, La Gelataria, Snowflake etc for originality, artisanal quality and value for money. They definitely deserved to win ice cream parlour of the year and are worth travelling to north west London for! Can’t wait to see what exciting new flavours I’ll discover next week! :D
Most delicious gelato in London. A huge selection of naturally vegan flavours including fresh fruits like the wild strawberry I had today and a vegan chocolate one that is super intense! Seriously worth travelling across London for.
Love the ice cream from here and regularly pickup a tub to take home. Staff are lovely and always happy to help and give flavour recommendations. Such a gem and so happy it's in KT!
Gelato shop that won this year’s Ice Cream Parlor of the Year, and rightfully so! Great selection of vegan options, shown here with the green ice cream handles.
Some delicious in store made gelato in Kentish town.
Award winning flavours, here we tried the pistachio, chocolate sorbet & mascarpone apple strudel. All were really great, flavoursome & textured without being sickly sweet.
Really lovely service and quirky interior too.
Please support this small business!
A reason to move to Kentish Town! The best Gelato I have ever tasted!!! Really worth the trek if you don’t live locally. I’ve been trying to have at least one day off a week from eating there but it’s a struggle. Run by really genuinely brilliant kind owners. There is also amazing iced coffee which I’ve only ever been able to get in Italy, and gelato birthday cakes too. It really is as good as the food critics say.
This place was amazing! I ordered a Banana and Nutella Gelato and as soon as I saw it, it looked stunning. It was the tastiest gelato I have ever had and the gave me a free topping with it. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and would recommend if visiting London.
