Chicken is amazing but vegetarian sides were simply mind blowing. The new sweet potato side is fantastic.

Visited yesterday evening with my partner and son, our waiter was Ella! She was very attentive and friendly.
The food was so good, but our prawns lacked flavour to it. Apart from that everything was on point, we loved the bacalhau fritters yum! The white wine sangria was good but maybe less ice next time.

Great place for yummy tapas and cocktails. Perfect location and the outdoor seating is nice. Didn’t have the chicken this time but it’s usually top. Staff very friendly and attentive.

I am Portuguese and the food made me feel back home for the evening, glad to show some genuinely tasty frango assado to my husband and brother in law outside of Portugal. Additionally would like to mention Marcus who delivered an outstanding service what was the cherry on top of the cake! One of my favourite drinks I have ever had and was a pleasant experience with delicious recipes enjoyed the chorizo and African rice. And Sofia was so good and friendly and as well helped in suggesting the good dishes for us. Was a unforgettable experience.
Very busy restaurant and quite cramped for the seating. Will definitely need to book for dinner. Food was too-notched Portuguese food. Lots of choices and every dish was really nice and well presented. Staff were a bit pushy but took good care of us.
recently went to casa do frango shoreditch for a little bday dinner. between three of us we got
2x half chicken
3x fries
1x slaw
1x green beans
1x croquettes
the food was really tasty, i loved the green beans & croquettes. only criticism from time was the chicken portions felt really small - maybe we needed a half chicken each...
the service was great and our server got us a free pastal de nata with a bday candle on it - very nice touch. also nice atmosphere and outdoor seating! would go back, but get more chicken
A very good meal indeed. Booked on a busy night, and still got given a good table, both comfy and atmospheric. The food was the main reason to come here though. The Peri-Peri chicken was tasty and well-seasoned, and the starters/sharing items were just as incredible. The Chorizo was perfectly chargrilled and oily, and the authentic Bacalhau fritters were a new thing for me, and definitely worth getting. The sides were seasoned to perfection and the sauces brought out the flavour in the rest of the meal. There was a nicely refined collection of desserts to choose from, and they were all very good in different ways. The chocolate mousse was rich and an incredible texture, the Pastel de Nata was warm and delicious way to end a meal, and the Almond Cake was nicely balanced. Overall, a tasty and great way to enjoy my evening!
Reserved a table beforehand and was taken to our table upon arrival.
For starters, we ordered a range of dishes including prawns, sourdough, cauliflower and bacalhau.
The prawns tasted nice, which was drenched with a lovely sauce. The sourdough basket was warm and tasted great. The cauliflower was unexpectedly a great dish with its accompanied sauces. The bacalhau tasted fresh and authentic, although were a little small.
On to the mains and it has to be the chicken. We got a few portions of the standard spice as well as lemon and herb and the spicy. Really enjoyed the flavours of all of them. They tasted excellent, well cooked. The accompanied sauces along with the chips (although were a little too salty for me) gave the meal a really fantastic taste - thoroughly enjoyable.
Would recommend for any type of group visiting, friends, family, couple. Can’t wait to go back and have some more chicken.
I was quite disappointed with the Piri Piri spiced chicken, the seasoning was very minimal and if that's the way you wanna make it, that is fine but provide some sort of hot sauce with it to give it the kick you need, Chef. Rest of the starters were all on point but considering there is only one main, you gotta ace it.
However, service saved this rating as we had the best waitress ever (we were seated outside) and she definitely deserves a raise please, bossman.
Warmest welcome from the staff as soon as we arrived. Although it was quiet it was still extremely comfortable, staff were a delight especially Yemi. She was perfectly attentive, knowledgeable and a delight to converse with. The food! Sensational, well seasoned, well balanced and complementary throughout the menu. The salgadinhos and bacalhau fritters are a must try. I’d only ask for more on the menu especially since some of the more complex dishes are pork limiting the experience for some, only upsetting since I wanted more. Also this is not a place for a large meal unless you’re ready to order quite a few dishes. Great for brunch/lunch with drinks. Drinks are as well balanced and refreshing as the food which is rare in Shoreditch. It’s an experience due to the dedication and warmth from the staff that I’ll be coming back for. Thank you!
Wonderful experience at Casa do Frango Shoreditch! We visited for a Thursday night dinner and it was fabulous! At arrival, staff was very accomodating - we asked to change our table and they immediately accepted our request. Food was phenomenal! Their chicken is just a dream. We paired our food with a bottle of Vino Verde. We left happy & satisfied! What a great experience - we'll be back!

Delicious Portugese food. The ham croquettes and the cod fritters are amazing! The green rice side is also very tasty. They also provide blankets if one feels cold when sitting outside.
Exceptionally good. We had half chicken each. It was tasty. We'll coocked. I forgot to take pictures, i was eager to taste the chicken and eventually dive into the plate 😂
The chips and coslow also very nice. All plates returned empty and we were super satisfied. The atmosphere was nice. The restaurant is clean and cozy. Service was fast. I will definitely go back
